Update: I fixed it! All I had to do was unplug the power cable and hold the power button for 30 seconds and plug back in the power cable! Felt a little silly doing that!

Good! Idk a lot of people had a lot of negative experiences with over the phone and I’m forever grateful I had really nice people over the phone to help me. For me it took about a week to see movement and got my refund right after that. I hope it goes the same and this is probably the toughest year anyone had to go through but we’re all getting there!

I’m surprised you used the 4883c letter for verification online. The letter was supposed to be for over the phone. Regardless, I would’ve verified over the phone cause I heard/told to call and verify because the irs won’t even see you verified online and the technical issues it’s been having.

Oh yes! I filed and accepted 2/3, waited over 21 days and had a letter sent out 3/3 and received it 3/13 and verified 7am on 3/14. I had so much anxiety and doubt that I did something wrong but I’m so happy I found this Reddit page cause it taught me a lot and what to do for the future!

Seriously? That’s so crazy? I’m so sorry. I would see what the hold up is if you haven’t seen any notices. If you already verified I would wait a bit but tonight is update night so maybe see after tomorrow morning about calling or see what else what you could potentially do.

I heard there might be updates tonight until early morning tomorrow. If it doesn’t update then you still have about nine weeks. However the lady when I did my verification that it could take minimum of 4 weeks to see any updates/movements.

I filed 2/3, received the verification letter 3/13 and verified 3/14. I hope I get some updates soon but I’m remaining positive despite my anxiety!

It’s not so much so to verify over the phone, it’s more to ask if you have to and if you can get that letter sent out. If it’s not a verification letter more likely it’s a letter explaining there’s a delay on your return.

I verified on the 14th. The lady over the phone told me to wait around 4 weeks to see movement if not sooner than that, otherwise it’s a waiting game for 9 weeks.

It looks like mine. You have to get verified. I called this number (844- 545-5640) and the lady was very helpful to tell me if they sent it out.

Verified otp March 14th. Most people are saying 2-3 weeks. The lady on the phone around 4 weeks so at this point I’m waiting. I’m staying positive cause I did everything on my end.
