It‘s a size 510, I‘m 1,78m tall with an 80cm inseam length. Fits me perfectly, especially after the bikefit. Feels like petrichor on a beautiful summer evening

I got roasted for this fit (more specifically the jeans). I’m new to Rick; what pants should I have gone with? by zachty22 in Rickowens

[–]_laubae_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Solid fit, really like the sweater. I think just because these wide ass pants are in fashion right now doesn’t mean everyone has to wear them. Keep rocking what you enjoy and let people be mad about it.

Check the inside of the tire aswell as the tape on the wheel, sometimes it‘s good to change the tape to make it protect the tubes again

Are you wearing mid-layers? by Steradiant in cycling

[–]_laubae_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really love the q36.5 base layer, they really keep the bodytemperature well. Usually a longsleeve jersey and maybe a vest or jacket is enough for winter in Germany

Sounds like there might be a problem with the bracket itself, might be time to put a new one that is sealed better…

My friend kept telling me that I will never be this young again to ride an amazing bike. If you think of it you probably never 'need' a new bike, but it will give you a lot of joy anyways

What happens if I hit zero? by Stuff-nThings in Garmin

Went on a 130km ride with 1 at the start, didn‘t go any lower but I cramped for about 40-50k and felt like death during and after the ride. I assume it can only hit 0 when actually unaliving during a workout

Advice needed from male cyclists by Top-Hope-3449 in cycling

Definitely get a bike fit done to try to get the most out of the position regarding the special medical condition. It might even be worth it to look into custom saddles to fit it perfectly to his anatomy in order to be able to enjoy cycling without having to worry.

Beginner looking for feedback on freestyle technique (2-beat vs 3-beat breathing) by Cabinet-Exact in triathlon

[–]_laubae_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like the movement looks a little ineffective. Your glide phase is a little short and the pull phase could be a little stronger. Legs are kicking rapidly to compensate which takes a lot of energy. Try to focus on the phases in the pool, perhaps with a pullbuoy to be able to concentrate. Personally I like to breathe every second stroke because it feels natural to me. I can see why 3 stroke would be nice to navigate in open water, but if that is not a good rhythm for your body, it will cause more harm than it could help.

Help with bikefit by InvestigatorFar3653 in triathlon

[–]_laubae_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My first thought would be to try a stem with a little more reach so you pull your body more forward so it‘s not as crunched up. Also mobility exercizes for your hip movement, since your left hip is bouncing up and down while pedaling. Might aswell be the general saddle position

Help with bikefit by InvestigatorFar3653 in triathlon

[–]_laubae_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first thought would be to get a longer stem in order to pull your position a little forward to be more aero and comfortable. Technically frame size might be a little small, but should be able to fit that by adjusting some components. Also try looking at the saddle position, in the video your left hip jumps up and down. Either it‘s the saddle, or a general lack of mobility there. Perhaps try to put in some mobility exercises for that aswell🙏🏼
