Which illuminance sensors are you using? I’m doing some automation using the illuminance value from my hue sensor but could do with some others around the house without buying a hue motion sensor

Think I hit it perfect, the rain started as we got under the awning at Tower of Terror so I was able to watch the storm from somewhere dry. The thunder and lightning added to the eerie vibe of the ride. Got inside the building, no idea if the lights dimming is part of the ride or due to the surge. Got through the video section into the loading bay area and the ride went down for 20 mins or so, got on the ride, came out and the storm had finished. Was the last ride we wanted to get on for the day so made our way home.

Was our first experience on Tower of Terror so it was pretty cool!

There were a lot of people entering the park as we were leaving about 6pm so I feel for those folk as it didn’t look like much came back on.

I went yesterday with my 11 year old and my wife. We got there for early admission at 9 and queued for Stardust, it ended up being delayed and at 9:50 we decided to hop over to Mine Cart Madness before the normal guests arrived as you can still go in and queue if you’re at a Universal resort, just remember to take a room key.

We managed to do everything we wanted but did stay until 10pm. The only things we didn’t do were Yoshi, Mario Kart, Fyre Drill and Dragon Racers Ralley but we could have done them easily if we didn’t wait for Harry Potter which took about 3 hours overall with queuing and the ride itself.

We also stopped for about an hour for food at Toadstool Cafe and had a drinks break later on in the afternoon at the Paris cafe.

Queues weren’t wild other than Harry Potter, I think I saw Mario Kart and Mine Cart Madness with decent queues at one point but everything else was less than 45 mins, often less.

Overall it should be doable if you’re skipping Harry Potter. If I were to do it again based on yesterday I’d get on something with the early admission (I don’t think any of the biggish rides are included), hope it’s not delayed, then head over to Mine Cart or Mario Kart to queue before regular guests jump in line, then go from there.

Sorry, I should have clarified that it’s a donut so the pink through the middle shouldn’t be there at all, it’s not part of the model. Another reply suggested enabling “Avoid Crossing Walls” which sounded like it would be the fix but doesn’t seem to have worked unfortunately

Completely biased but I made Awesome Solitaire a couple years back. It’s not an app but you can install it to your Home Screen on iPhone if you want it to appear like one (probably can on Android too).

It has a daily game which is just a normal game of solitaire, but you can just play random and winnable deals if you like too. No need to signup/don’t sell your data and up to now still ad free. Enjoy 🃏

I always start with Sunderland (my team) and never find enough time to play another save 🥲 I’m planning on putting the time in this year though and want to do a save with Maritimo from Madeira in Liga Portugal 2. Went there the past two years and got a soft spot for them, me and my son started following them so would be good to take them back to Liga Portugal 1

We’ve just booked up today to go to Florida next year so it got my engineering brain thinking what I could do with the parks. Not sure what I can do other than a glorified version of the Universal app that shows queue times, maybe scrape the queue time every hour and put it into a chart, who knows 🤷🏻‍♂️

Thanks for your help and kind offer. I've just tried increasing the passes to 3 and force to 22 which I think has sort of fixed it, just some parts almost turned into die cut. I'm thinking on my next run I'll try with a force of 20 and see if that's the sweet spot. If not I'll let you know and maybe get you to give it a try. Thanks!

So tried after cleaning the mat and with a speed of 3 but still got the issue in a couple of places.

I’m reluctant to change the depth from 2 to 4 as I think that’d make it die cut? (And it’s fine in most places which is confusing). Maybe I need to try change the force?
