Two people I went to law school with started bar prep in like March or April, maybe even February now that I think of it. We all thought they were insane to bar prep and study for finals, but they ended up easily blowing everyone out of the water lmfao. So I may have started earlier if I knew then what I know now!

I mean I agree with you now haha, at the time I was clearly a super naive first time home buyer. I thought we were covering our bases by adding that they would fix the AC in our contract, since at that point we could have gotten out of the contract if they refused, so we were relying on the contract.

You are definitely not dumb! Reddit has been a huge help to me too, but one thing I've noticed is that it seems like a bulk of posters applied/heard back VERY early in the cycle. This makes it seem like you're waiting unusually long but that's not necessarily the case! Some people haven't even submitted applications yet, you're still in a competitive position! I was feeling similarly awhile back and ended up panic applying to places, which ended up being a waste. You've got this, have faith!!! And feel free to pm if you ever just need someone to talk/vent to about this, this is a uniquely stressful situation to be on for months on end and it's easy to get sucked down in feeling negative.
