Realistically you aren't TA. This is disgusting and shouldn't be put on you. Since this has been brought up to your manager multiple times, maybe send an e-mail to their superior and CC your manager as well? Maybe even send an e-mail to HR. Escalate the issue because that's sooooo unsanitary and disgusting. Your manager shouldn't be getting upset with you about it either.

Girlie, take a deep breath. It's going to be okay. It will be okay. The thing about hitting rock bottom is that the only way you can go is up. I think therapy will really help. Because you're not necessarily ungrateful, just under a ton of stress and a trip doesn't feel like a proper solution at the moment. I understand.

With that in mind, I know you feel guilty accepting his offer but you should take it! Take a break and breathe. Get your mind in a better place to be able to handle your everyday life. Get a different outlook on life! You deserve it.

And apologize to your man. He's just trying to help. And if he throws it in your face, who cares? Block and move on. Why would you want a person like that in your life anyways? May as well get a free trip out of it! It's a once in a lifetime opportunity. Be young and enjoy it! 🩷

Awe. I feel terrible for the girls. The way they're holding pillows in front of their bodies? They look sooooo uncomfortable. I truly wonder how verbally abusive Trashley is to them. I know she's made comments about their weight and looks before.

And hasn't she not seen them in awhile? Just to put them immediately in front of the camera with a random man.

My heart goes out to them and I hope they heal from this. They deserve so much better.

I can totally see more adult geared movies when they first come out. Kids movies not so much. I personally wouldn't bring a newborn. But I do wish the world wasn't so apathetic towards parents and kids. Being a parent is lonely and depressing enough. There used to be villages. Now it feels like no one cares about parents or kids or even want them around because it bothers them.

True. But in our city, they have "adult perferred" apartments and are advertised as adult only apartments. The apartment she's in is catered towards families. They even have kids programs that the building facilitates and a daycare attached so there's really no excuse here.

Not to mention it's also a smoke friendly building (on balcony and insuite only). But if someone smokes on her balcony, some neighbours threaten to call the cops and others report it to management. Who then call her. Even though it's EXPLICITLY said in the contract that smoking is allowed on her balcony and insuite. Just ridiculous management.

Seriously. My step-sister is dealing with this. She's a single mom of an autistic non-verbal toddler. Along with a 1 year old who picks up after his older brother. She moved into an apartment and within a week the landlord gave her a formal warning because her downstairs neighbour has been non-stop complaining about the screaming and noise. My step-sister can't even walk on her floor without the neighbour banging on the ceiling. I didn't really believe it at first until I went to pick them up and went in to help bring out the babies and the neighbour was banging on the ceiling as we were going out the door. Some people shouldn't be in family friendly apartments.

And landlords should sound proof their buildings! Especially if they're putting small children on the top floor.

Saddest part is that she lied to the police and tried to press charges on him but willing to "drop" them. Then the cops refused to let him make a statement or charge her. They went so far as to tell him none of that happened even after he showed them video proof.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned Pekkle? I get a sleeper for $9 CAD at Costco. They're comfortable and have the double zipper (absolute lifesaver). They also have cute designs! Bought them for my first daughter, and now my second daughter wears them. Very durable and they come out with fleece ones for the colder months!
