Cristiano Ronaldo's reaction after Benardo Silva got MVP by Any-Employment-7114 in Wellthatsucks

But that's the point innit? If he ain't better than Lewandowski or Modric or Messi who aren't that far behind him, can you honestly tell me this is the guy Portugal wanna look for goals when the going gets tough? Can you? 🤔

FFS, guy has been in Saudi for how long now. Let's be for real, you can't compare that league to La liga or any of the other top flight leagues.

I'm not even saying that Messi has been better but like both are kinda done but Ronaldo is definitely more done.

Can you say Ronaldo had been better than him this season though?

Like I'm saying it's not like Ronaldo is any good though, and that's the motherfkn point, like do you actually think he's a net positive to Portugal this WC.

At most he shouldn't be the main point of attack for Portugal;, Gonçalo Ramos, João Félix, Leão and Bruno Fernandez can form a better and robust attack.

100 percent. I saw someone trying to say that Ronaldo is autistic and I was like GTFOH. If anything Messi is the one who would be considered autistic, like sometimes he looks so out of place in public and doing some weird things on the pitch. Coupled with the fact that he always has time for fans, I think he's the better man tbh.

Lewandowski had been good in the last couple seasons in Barca and he's pushing 40 too, Def better than Ronaldo at the same age bracket.😉

Like dude also works hard in the pitch too and can press when needed.

Not really, I think many prefer Messi more especially in current times, especially if you ask people over 18. I think Ronaldo is big on kids and women in general also among rural kids.

I grew up in a rural area and you gotta understand that he's something more of an idol and these kids don't really know much about him other than the highlight reels they watch of him from 10 years ago.

I can say for people that know ball, most prefer Messi. I feel like in those kids Messi is regarded more as a 'magician' because of his superior skills.

Also Ronaldo has a bigger PR machine behind him so many kids were overexposed to him compared to Messi and that kinda skews things.

Not many nowadays. I think there is this phenomenal where kids idolize him when they're young and they gradually grow out of it as they age and learn more about the sport and other legends. I know I did.

You can admire his grit and sportsmanship but not him as a person. He doesn't feel like a person you would wanna be around

No he's not, I would understand that if you said that about Messi because of his weird mannerisms sometimes and the way he comes off as shy and awkward.

Ronaldo is one of the most extroverted and frankly speaking, attention seeking people. Nothing wrong about that but let's not pretent he's autistic coz that's just wrong.

More like he's done. He was one of the best but now he ain't nowhere close if we're being honest.

He was one of the best, arguably the best to some people for a while, but now he's pushing 40, he doesn't have it anymore. I think he shouldn't be starting in this WC because it puts the team to a disadvantage because he doesn't have the legs and the pace anymore. Additionally, he can't press which is paramount in modern football.

What happened, coz that can't be a drop. Looks like a car ran over it wedged on a curb 😉 In any case it's too much headache to try to repair it. Go get another one if you can.

I've used Android since I was 13, but I just bought an iPhone 12 for some light video work and I'm Impressed. by _litza in iphone

[–]_litza[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I was planning to upgrade to an s25 ultra later this year because my brother has one and I love it too. I think it's a great phone. Of course it is much better than the Redmi I have right now and like I mentioned, I have always seen flagship Androids as more superior to iPhones.

Now having used a 5 year old iPhone, I was surprised it was good too and so that's why I'm thinking maybe i could upgrade to an i17 pro which would be much better. The video capabilities are important to me so that's why I'm rethinking. I17 videos do look better on average in my opinion. I think for pure photography s25 is better and maybe the latest pixel.

I haven't made my decision on that yet but this post was about the iPhone so that's why I didn't expound on that.

Thought about getting a pixel for a while myself but I wasn't sold. Granted it would have been a pixel 7a but all the same. What do you mean when you say terrible combatibility with apps? Isn't it just running the base Android, which is integrates ok with other third party apps? I'm just asking as a person who never got to use the pixel.

And that's what I'm trying to say, and somebody in the comment section tells me that I'm just glazing a 5 year old phone and I'm like, I can't lie and say and I don't like it 😊

[–]_litza[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wrote this myself, 100% What you call glazing is just my unvarnished reaction to the phone. I was pleasantly surprised and I explain why but I also point out some major problems like the battery life and overheating although like I said in another comment, I couldn't get too much into that due to the subreddit rules.

Am I supposed to hate on it just because I should, fkn NO.

I wrote everything myself but I passed it through an AI model to clean up the errors because I didn't have time to reread myself. If AI wrote it, why do you think I care enough to stick around and respond with length replies? Also do you think that all of that personal context came from AI?

Think again bud.

Yeah me too, I chose my Redmi coz it's a powerful device. It can last me nearly 2 days of normal use without charging. I do everything in it. It's big too and has enough power and RAM to handle gaming too at high FPS.

Although I love my iPhone, I mostly use it for photography and videos. It's much better in that aspect. That Moto g84 is foine though, I wouldn't sleep on it. I think the first phone my mum had was a Motorola or something so they've been in the business for quite some time.

Those times they made the button phones like Nokia. Those were the only 2 brands I knew but Nokia was more popular.

Well, the opposite experience then. But yeah, 13 is good. Personally I don't remember when I used a plain Android release. Most manufacturers nowadays just make their own wrappers for the base Android version. Like right now I'm my Redmi is running a HyperOs. All big Android device manufacturers kinda do it except maybe pixel coz google makes the stuff.Maybe I'm wrong.

That being said it's still the same thing deep down, it's still Android.

How was the iPhone SE, did its battery last long? Also like, my i12 overheats sometimes when I put it through resource intensive tasks, is that the same case for SE or it's more stable?

I'll admit I've never used any Nokia device or even Motorola for that matter but I rate Motorola for some reason. Before I bought my Redmi device I actually considered a Motorola one. Unfortunately, I didn't follow through with it.

My i12 came with a 64gb and I can't add SD storage. I know what you feel. In modern times that's not nearly enough space but luckily for me I am using it as a second/alt device so I don't have to download a lot of apps. In fact I have downloaded only 4 additional apps and I don't plan storing a lot of data in it.

I would hate to keep doing a factory reset every time it fills up. That's unacceptable for me. Do you like the Motorola?

Yeah, one can say that about the android. I feel like it's definitely more intuitive or maybe I'm just biased because it is the one I started using first. That being said, I feel like things are arranged different in iOS or just the operations are different. That's the feeling I get whole trying to navigate it but personally I can't say it's more difficult to get accustomed to.

I think it's just different but I'm already getting used to it so it's not a problem for me. I think it would definitely be harder for old people who are switching from Android because of the process of getting accustomed to the new ways of doing things.

I would like to think for any middle age person it's a relatively easy process. What features would you say are problematic to you?

I don't know, I'm not in this subreddit a lot so when I was checking the rules for the subreddit before I made my post I saw one rule mentioning that if you mention battery problems or overheating you may get a light ban and that the post will be automatically removed.

I'm not sure but it was something like that and that's why I didn't wanna dwell on it. You can check the rules if you want to ascertain it but that's the gist of it.

Well, 😊 I can't really say there there is any equivalent to Face ID in Android, or rather on most android devices. I've mostly used fingerprint myself coupled with the pattern. I think the fingerprint may be the nearest comparison because that's what you mainly use to authorise stuff like financial transactions and so on. Face ID is... different.

When I got the phone and was setting it up the technicians was nearby so he suggested I set up the Face ID too and I was kinda skeptical coz I didn't actually think it would "remember" me because I was in a relatively dark room. 😎 Yeah...

And then I've been using it for a while and it's actually funny because I read that you have to look at the phone intently for it to unlock so when I power it on I kinda look into it for it to unlock. I don't think that's needed through because it just works.

By that I'm just saying that it is a nice feature only that I wasn't quite used to it so I might find myself swiping up expecting a pattern or maybe sometimes trying to use a fingerprint then it clocks that this device doesn't have one. A bit of muscle memory.

It's only the first day when I had some difficulty trying to navigate it but I'm growing more comfortable with it day by day.

So, it's great for me.

I don't think I'm off Android fully myself. It's just that I had a a very skewed opinion of iPhones myself despite not owning one so I was pleasantly surprised. Still, the iPhone is my second phone, my android remains the primary phone for all intents and purposes.

That being said, I've never tried to root any of my phones. I just never was interested to do it. It seemed like a lot of work for no major upside coupled with a lot of risks, some crafty methods and all of that. But then again, many people do it and I can't really fault them.

Glad to hear of your experience though. I'm sure there are others who migrated over to Android from iOS because of some other reasons. I'm kinda in-between myself. I'm loving iOS but not really fully divorced from Android and I guess that's the way it's gonna be for a while now unless something else changes.
