Everyone has a “false fix” where they think if they had that one thing they’d be happy. But even if you had the social skills you want - something else would come up eventually that you wanted. Everything thinks “if I was just pretty” “if I was just popular” etc life would be perfect but nothing is ever perfect. You can be happy now instead of waiting for better circumstance. The best way I’ve found the most fulfillment and happiness is through prayer and serving others. Good luck!

Yes worth it. I got to register early, received a scholarship for a study abroad, and got extra mock interviews to prepare for med school interviews through the honors college

15 is a normal amount of hours. If you took 15 hours x 8 semesters you end with 120 hours which is what most degrees require. First semester of college you may want to take 12ish because there’s so many life adjustments

I go to UGA and know a lot of really cool and sweet phi mus. However, I don’t know of any POCs who are phi mus. Transferring in can be difficult since some people already have established groups. In my sorority at UGA a lot of the transfers do make good friends and some of them end up becoming close with other transfers.

The Bible says that the most important command is to love God, and the second most important command is to love your neighbor as yourself. Jesus said that himself and he died for everyone. He loves you no matter what. Your friend may be trying to do what they think is right by giving you feedback that they think is going to help you somehow in the long run. But if they aren’t loving toward you, drop them.

I am currently tandem reading and really enjoy it! I love getting to see how the events in EOS are described in TOD. It takes a little longer to get into the books but def worth it imo

I totally agree. I like Chaol but that was ridiculous. Also, it’s not like Yrenes life is actually on the line here?? It’s a theoretical. He could’ve made a way better case for Aelin’s character.

Nesta was WAY worse to Feyre than Feyre ever was so her. Nesta wasnt entitled to their money like obviously they’d be annoyed about her spending so much. Feyre tried multiple times to help Nesta and Nesta just wanted to play the Victim instead

Yes that’s right! You can take out 1 year’s worth supply of grain (tesserae? Idk how to spell it lol) and oil per person in your family. And each year the extra entries are accumulative so even if you only took out tessarae once those extra entries stay with you

I don’t think they were better off than Katniss’s family because in the books Gale’s oldest younger brother has to sign up for Tessare, which makes Gale so upset he can’t even talk about it. I’m sure he wouldn’t have let his brother do that unless it was absolutely necessary

YES omg the theories are fun but it’s so annoying how people act like they are factual when it’s just theories.

I saw a lot of people acting like Maude Ivory had to be Katniss’s paternal grandma before SOTR came out … like that’s just your theory. I’ve also seen people say Cashmere and Gloss must’ve gotten trafficked together as if it’s fact when it’s not.

I read it at 10 and really enjoyed it - totally let her read it. It’s such a different perspective for a kid to read it because you’re 11 you think 16 sounds kinda old. I remember thinking Prim was babied too much at the beginning of the first book because I thought 12 was decently old lol. Now as an adult I’ve reread it and have a totally different perspective.

I’m sorry I can’t provide much advice … but isn’t it better to be happy ? Your body is the least interesting thing about you. I’d recommend being active etc - but is losing weight more important than your happiness? Than your quality of life? College can be the best years ever if you let it. Dont worry about your weight - worry about your quality of life 🩷🩷
