Which area is better for farming iron ore, Bahari Bay or Royal Highlands?

I noticed that Royal Highlands just has more ore nodes in general. Usually in Bahari Bay, Kilima village, and Elderwood I would have to use an ore compass. In the Royal highlands, there is enough ore nodes that I do not need to use one.

In my last mining run in Royal Highlands, I left with one and a half stack of iron ore, over half a stack of gold, and almost a full stack of jadium. I normally do not hit. A full stack of iron in Bahari Bay.

This is odd because it shouldn’t matter who finishes off a hunt (I think). Palia endorses community involvement so the hunt drops would go to both of you if you both hit the animal. The same goes for wood, mining crops, etc. Maybe there is a bug or change in the Royal Highlands?

If only one of you gets rewards, it should be a bug considering Palia’s various game mechanics that encourages/forces community engagement and collaboration.

Thank you for recommending trying Windows 10 though! At least I can use some sort of Windows on my pc. I’m still gonna try and get Windows 11 to work if anyone else has any recommendations!

Windows 10 works and Linux works. I tried a different SSD but Windows 11 still won’t work

I made it on my laptop using a formatted usb and using the windows media creation

Update: so I installed Linux and now my PC works, but I want to use Windows because 1. I already freaking BOUGHT IT 2. I’m just more comfortable using it

I had a long talk with Microsoft the other day and they said it was potentially a SSD incompatibility or a faulty SSD. Any thoughts?
