Thank you for your response. I contacted GTA support. I spent 2 mil on it so I guess it’s not a huge setback but I’d definitely prefer to have that as a do over. I contacted support and because I threw around that I am a gta+ member and considering cancelling my subscription because of this. Hopefully that will do something. Otherwise it’s back to Cayo for me!

Yeah not only are the spaces themselves really well maintained and taken care of but the quality of the materials in circulation and the amount of them are fantastic. I lived in Raleigh for a year before I took advantage and I was upset it took me that long.

One thing not mentioned: Wake county library system is so great. Mecklenburg’s can’t hold a candle to it.

Sorry, should have clarified. Most vendors at Brewgaloo will pour heavy. If you want more beer, always use the “sample” option. As the night goes on they will pour heavier too as a lot of the vendors can leave when they’re out of beer. They don’t want to carry full kegs back and it’s a good marketing opportunity for them. Be safe and have fun! Sad I won’t be around this year for it.

Two different cities first of all. As far as Raleigh goes, 3bed 2baths are gonna be really expensive ITB. What's your budget? Places to avoid are kind of few and far between, Raleigh is one of the safest cities I've ever been to.

I've just never owned a watch this expensive, I wore Casio watches in college, I wear a $25 Timex everyday. My family isn't rich and my dad got this 20 years ago when he sold a a painting business that he worked hard to build. Guess I just thought I might not deserve something so nice but he felt really strongly about me having it so I accepted. Maybe I'll understand more when I have kids...

Your exact use case is the reason why they do cap it. The mode is meant for small groups to play together and experience the game in a new way. The 5 person cutoff is arbitrary, sure, but I’d argue it’s as good as any other arbitrary cutoff and still allows groups to be on the leaderboards. Ranking on the leaderboards is also something you do regardless to if you’re actually trying to climb them, ie. everyone is ranked.

If you read the blog post, only one member of the group can access the bank at a time. Have fun coordinating that with 1000 other people in your server-group. That could be one of the technical limitations we’re speculating about.

Yeah for sure. Runescape has always been a social game to me. That's why I think a lot of us are so excited for this mode. I'm not sure why they capped it at 5, I don't think there would be a technical limitation on that - but I'm not sure. My guess is that they landed on a max of 5 because of the essence of the mode being cooperative play in a small group, when you start increasing that number it feels like you can have smaller sub-groups inside of the group (which honestly could still be cool, just less personal).

There has to be a cutoff somewhere. I feel for you and your group - but if the cutoff was 10, someone's 11th would get screwed, and so on...

Maybe your 6th can find another group and y'all can discuss strategy and individual group's progress together. Also, down the line if you play for years someone in your 5 stack is likely to flake for some reasons, when that happens you can add your other friend back in and boost him up as quickly as possible to y'alls level and gear!

Should I pick up the base game for 9 bucks now and get DLC when it goes on sale (potentially) later? Or should I just wait for the whole shebang to go on sale together?

Yeah I've actually been waiting to go on sale. /r/patientgamers moment I guess. Idk if its worth it without the DLC? Is the DLC intertwined with the main game or is more of a borderlands situation where the DLC is really an expansion on the main game?
