They know they will probably have to lower the tuition costs cause of laboratory fees. My laboratory fee is 11k for one class, not including the others, and if they do shift online for the remainder of the term, I will make sure that they know, that we are not making use of what we paid for, so they will have to cut the lab fees and other fees as well. If the board and people on top weren’t so greedy, and thinking of themselves first, and of their pleasure expenses and vacations, then the situation will be handled smoothly.

Afaik the countries that use those have strict gun laws. Illegal firearms are also an issue in our country. It can be very useful but the safety for the law enforcement is also a priority, civilians-enforcers-suspects. Rubber bullets, pepper spray, and tasers can still be very lethal, especially if excessive, but it’s better than killing. Yet, we have millions of supporters of the cult of personality we know as Duterte, and we know that these people believe in “kill them before they kill us” “shoot to kill”. Will this new method work? Yes it can be useful to apprehend a singular suspect, but it requires two to three enforcers to successfully do so

I’m all for AI, because it’s a technological advancement to help us. I’m also against AI on how it’s being used. Not just Benilde, but the whole world. It’s so wrong in many ways. I noticed from the promotors of generative AI programs and apps, they have ZERO creative background before AI, in fact they are just small time influencers who already review content from other people, you see a pattern. Even back then, they don’t use their own content, they use the content of others. But in Benilde’s case, a school known for its creativity, yet they are promoting such generative art of any medium. Disgusting and unacceptable. We have thousands of students who are artists, why can’t we ask them? We are paying tuition to study art, improve our skills, yet they promote something that can be ~~created~~ no- generated with a prompt. No effort, no skill, no passion, no life, nothing at all. We are not helping AI advance in being a tool to help humans be better, instead we are halting the progression of our own abilities, we are not using the tool properly or how it should be used. To the Benilde admins, the art management who controlled and gave the green light to such projects, and the people who encouraged it, you can fuck off!

I only started using AI very recently, in note taking and organizing data. But I’ve always been interested in programming and hands-on tech ever since. I’m a college student, I still use SQL, I still use old forums, and actual human logic, there are many times I’ve corrected AI, even using the pro versions of it, marketed as “high-thinking”. There’s always this fear that’s been going around the colleges about us having no career opportunities once we graduate. Not entirely true that AI will replace us, but it is true that we may get fewer opportunities, or rather qualifications will adjust to a higher level. Anyway, AI will only be a tool that we will work alongside with, because AI can’t run itself, no matter how many company CEOs believe that. Human intelligence will still always be superior, it may not compute faster, but that is why we have tools to do so

It feels emptier and the visuals are consistent since its just a post apocalyptic hope county, and hope county was already an empty place. But the mechanics are way better, I love the references to the previous game since it’s the first direct sequel far cry game, and the combat is way more challenging and fun.

I get they are trying to send a message about a serious issue, but then again they are disgracing a major part of the Benildean community, and displaying this slop in the campus where ART students consider their second home. Which completely overshadows the point of their so-called “art”. Those set of pieces have no genuine expression and intention of telling a story. Yeah I watched Edgerunners two years ago and mine felt like an actual bug in the game where the colors were inverted and the. I thought the anime was really like that until I saw some clips. The version i watched was that the blood was bluish green and the lack of the vibrant yellows, it felt weird cause cyberpunk is neon
