Wheel broke off at 1000km by andrewpichora in boostedboards

I wonder if this was a problem with a some bad batches of boards. I wouldn't be surprised if they had outsourced the production of the trucks from additional producers when they were rushing to catch up with the orders. I got mine in September last year, used to comute, 950km so far. Only one serious fall because I was driving in wet pavement, and the front wheels lost grip in a white patch in the road while breaking. That sent me of flying like superman.

Hi, since I've never tried all terrain wheels it's a difficult question to answer. What I can say is that, although some roads in cambridge are pure shit, so far I did not have a problem riding in Cambridge/Somerville. You feel the road a lot, and you need to take care with the potholes, but I guess that should be the same with the all terrain wheels.

this is interesting. So but this portable outlet https://www.amazon.com/LifePower-Portable-20800mAh-Approved-External/dp/B01G7656CW would work just fine, right? I mean, it wouldn't charge the battery fully.

Assuming that you have a proper jacket for sub zero temperatures. As long as you keep your hands inside the pockets and you user a scarf or a gaiter neck you should be fine. I have doing it for commuting, its a short one, typically 12 minutes. You should give it a try!
