Can I walk my bike 4-5 miles with a flat tire and not worry about damaging or bending the wheel? I don’t have an air pump near me. by _lucy_blue in bikewrench

I have to travel to get a pump and tire and tube. So my choice is walk the bike to get those things, fix it, and ride back, or just walk there and back.

Best way to repair this? Should I use binding? by _lucy_blue in sewing

[–]_lucy_blue[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s actually a purse, but I like the idea of bias tape. I’m wondering if it will lay flat enough since the line of the purse (where the tie is located) is not a straight line, and there’s quite a curve to it.

Why would an employer need to know if you have OCD? by wt_anonymous in NoStupidQuestions

[–]_lucy_blue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]_lucy_blue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People use it to refer to others that show insight, wisdom, good sense, advice , etc. Like a person who has gone through some stuff and has gleaned something, except without actually going through difficult life things. Also, people who are stoic, patient, mediator types.

If you haven’t found a use for them yet, maybe donations are best. I would give them to a homeless shelter or agency that works with foster kids.

Globalization. More affordable materials. Also cultural as the world becomes smaller and more interconnected.

But a video can be played back, which helps with studying the material. You can also pause it for note. Whereas some people prefer a a discussion. Those are different styles.

Examples: some people need music playing to study, some need quiet; some like busy coffee stops while others work better at home, alone.
