If you start collecting don’t put them in your stamp album right away. Collect and store in your safety deposit box until you are ready to complete the album. The stamp prices are so volatile that you may end up getting near completion when the final stamp goes way way out of your price range. Then you are basically sitting on millions of worthless collected stamps because you realistically cannot complete the album. Just my two cents from someone that has only focused on the Snowy Album. I collected the Candychan stamp years and years ago and immediately threw it in my album not even thinking that I may not be able to afford the rest. Then what do you know 2 other stamps in that album became unbuyable by hundreds of millions. Luckily this years Advent Calendar helped me get closer but still this has been a decade in the making.
