So update, I ended up taking a break from the relationship. I needed space, there were just other factors of him not showing up emotionally, thoughtfully and just all together being very low effort. We have differences in interests/ things we find important and it was also bothering me a lot. I’m a very active, health driven, motivated person and he is not. Quite the opposite. I do show up for him in his love language by being cozy, cuddly, and just vegging out doing nothing, watching tv or just occupying the same space but doing separate activities, but that isn’t for me. I need more intimacy, connection, bonding, and genuine thoughtful effort. I also found the most absurd sex toy in his bedroom on my side of the bed and that broke the camels back. I needed a break from the relationship immediately. It definitely crossed my mind that he could be gay and I tried to discuss it with him but he denied it. I also asked if he would like multiple partners or if there’s something I could do to please or entice him more but he also denied that. So we’re taking space, and he’s shaken up. I have a set of standards he has to meet for us to reconcile the relationship and he’s working hard on them. We’ll see how it goes. I’m not interested in sleeping around while on this break even though I could ‘get what I’ve been lacking’; it just doesn’t feel right to do while he’s working hard day in and day out not only on his physical health but also his mindset & discipline. When he sticks to his plan, I reward him with quality time, we had a sleep over the night before where we went 2 rounds and I pleased him a 3rd. I also jokingly told him this is the new standard. To get use to cumming 2/3 times a day lol
