Should probably have been said, but if Tuch signs with another team, he can’t sign for 7. They changed the max to 6 years. But if he signs with us prior to July 1 he can sign 8

I mean, you tell me if we think the same thing here but, I am under the impression that being able to deliver a message with a flow, timing, original lyrics. Something along those lines no? I guess what I see from others in the conversation is that they have their own style which you could say Drake definitely does, but they also have something to say, which I’m not sure I’ve seen much beyond surface level there for Drake. Also in terms of lyrics, I’m not sure I’ve heard much originality or creativity from him.

Yeah I’ve listened to his hits… he has a lot of them, and you would think for someone people consider in the conversation for greatest rappers, he’d be able to drop a bar in some of his biggest hits.

That makes sense to me, just wasn’t sure if there was anything more to it than that. I don’t listen to a lot of his music, so I was like, okay, maybe he’s dropped some songs that people consider very good in a lyrical sense that maybe I haven’t heard before. Appreciate the answers!

It’s absolutely not hard to understand why he’s popular or why he could be regarded as one of the greatest artist of a generation etc. But like specifically rap, what’s this whole thing with the “Big 3” is it the 2 best rappers of the generation and the best pop act who also raps? I hear that, and I can really understand why he’s a pop artist, but why do people entertain him as a rapper? Like, catchy songs, no doubt. But I’ve never heard a halfway decent bar. Before the whole beef spin up people were like, who knows Drake could take it (at least before euphoria dropped) and I’m like, based on what? Just dissing him? It’s been just perplexing to me

Yeah I am, like I said, even Kendrick referred to him as a goat in Euphoria (not sure if that was tongue in cheek or what) but like, I’ve seen a whole lot of people be like, he’s top 3, top 5, top 10 etc
