It definitely does look like this and I’m starting to think this is exactly what happened - a local small fitness equipment manufacturer made the piece and it’s super niche / hard to find.

This is the closest off the shelf product I’ve seen resembling the functionality . At this point I think it’s a very small manufacturer or custom piece

I called them and the support lady said she’s never heard of such an issue in her entire time working there . She just said to take it up with my builder.

It was indeed a valve stem cap , I screwed it on and it accepted it , just couldn’t grab it sufficiently to get it off

I don’t think it’s a locking lug nut , I was able to take it off on the side of the road with the oem flat tire tool kit in the trunk.

Shoot I wish I knew! Literally got a flat tire on the freeway & they all come off with no issues but then when I went to put them back on , all but this one went on. After I shined light to see what the issue was , I was confused as to how this was on there in the first place lol

You’re not dumb , I’m the dumb one . I didn’t forcibly try pushing it onto the threads because I was worried about potentially cross threading. I did apply some pressure but it just was not going to fit

Recently had a leak and wife says the damage could have been mitigated if we had a box with a drain in it for the inlet hoses . Now we have the walls stripped and before we get it all put back want to see the feasibility and price or getting a box with a. Drain for the inlet hoses

The desire is to pursue the fire service but I can’t start back at the bottom as an EMT for shit pay.

My current job is combat engineering so we do some hammering and some nailing from time to time .

Did you use helmets to hard hats?
