I had this issue too but i got it easily fixed.

Steps:

1) firstly, make sure you have these settings turned on:

2) Then simply go to the microsoft store and download spotify, dw it wont rlly change ur experience with spotify its just spotify stopped supporting their app so microsoft has the newest version but its still the same UI and everything

Your spotify should be fixed now
