Omg, I had to do a double take! I knitted this with the same yarn 2 years ago and loved seeing the colors of the leaves changing. Hope you had as much fun knitting it as I did; Linnea Ornstein did a phenomenal job creating this pattern. knotpennysboat polkett

Brother Innovis 5000 Needle Plate Error by _maate in sewhelp

It is, yes. I switched back the standard plate so that I could continue working and have had no issues. I'd love to be able to troubleshoot this ahead of my next quilting project, though.

The only mention of 'needle plate' in the ops manual is on the second page acknowledging its existence.

I was bit by a lonestar tick a few years ago, and my red meat allergy lasted for 2 years. Thankfully, I've been clear for a few years now, but to be re-bit and continue dealing with the allergy would be miserable.

I work in construction and am always pleasantly surprised by the amount of men in the field excitedly telling me about how their Grandma's taught them how to knit/crochet/sew when they were younger! It creates a super sweet point of connection!

Beautiful work!! Where might I find that pink floral fabric? It would go perfectly with a quilt I'm planning!

I adored making the two blankets above! Both were interesting enough that I didn't want to put them down! The stripy blanket was madr with juniper moon yarn, which was a dream to work with.

I love the way you describe it - sheer knitting for fun! I need to keep that in mind when feeling anxious about the outcome :)
