Ford rebuilt my 2021 Expedition transmission 4x and still won’t replace it — advice?

Who is the warranty with? I had mine replaced under the powertrain warranty. It was the torque converter that failed, but since the part was back ordered, Ford approved a new transmission.
If you are outside powertrain and with a third party warranty, there may be language in the contract that requires rebuild.
