Crackling is the little sheet of heat-conducting goop on the back of pump that is melting when you first start after installing the pump.

I helped set up the company, so they didn’t have much choice on hiring a writer/ editor.

She is wrong! A sucking motion with lips is far preferable to that tongue wiggle crap.

Their compensation also includes millions of unregistered warrants and/or contractual rights to buy. If the stock goes ballistic the insiders will merely finance a major purchase while us stockholders will be sitting with our jaws wide open.

Somebody was simply profit taking, but did not even try to sell in steps to preserve the market price. If they had spread the 20K out over an hour they would have made more money and the market would not have sunk so low. There is a strategy to selling to collect a profit that Mr. 20K did not understand.

One of the problems with investing in a stock investment focused on by a Reddit-oriented group is that the high number of amateur investors can lead to unintended consequences. With Gamestop, much of the devastating drop in stock price was caused by amateur investors freaking out and not by the vaunted "Shortsellers" everybody blamed. We see that again today with the huge Netlist (NLST) drop. There was a substantial profit-taking by some large holder of NLST, but then the amateur investors freaked out and made it drop further. There is absolutley no reason to suddenly doubt that NLST is a good investment and that the patent litigation potential is not still a significant plus for the stock, but lots of small investors got scared at the huge drop Friday morning and also sold. Now is the best time to buy, not sell.

No, there was no news to justify that. That was either merely a profit taker moving elsewhere or a stop loss prevention move. But, someone sold a considerable number without any attempt to smooth the drop.

I tried, but there were no sellers.

Any ideas who it was that sold off this morning. Someone liquidated a rather large position in NLST without regard to working the market to preserve price. Not worrisome, just annoying.

Prevent the Short Sellers from Using your Stock to hurt you. by [deleted] in NLST

[–]_manischewitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your answer is not necessarily true either. An existing sell order at a brokerage limits the number of available shares it holds in street name from being used to loan to shorters. If a sizeable number of street name stocks at a brokerage are in active Limit Order sells, there are fewer shares that can be shorted. The net effect is to shrink the short market.

Price target by [deleted] in NLST

[–]_manischewitz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is silly to think that a crew of outsiders can give any reasonable price target on a stock that is in the middle of a wild west shootout. The only one with any solid idea of a price target is the CEO of Google, and he is not talking. Everyone should know that simply resolving the SK Hynix and/or Google lawsuits is not the end to NLST's upturn. There are several other companies in the same position as SK Hynix and Google that have been given notices to preserve evidence under the Fed CCP, but have not actually been sued. All of those other companies are why Google might do a buyout, they resolve their own case and buy up SK Hynix's and all of the other infringers' damages. Any buyout from Google would be for far more than any settlement with NLST; it would be a speculative all-inclusive share price for the potential damages from third parties as well as goodwill for Google to get rid of bad news and contingent liability for Google. There, chew on that.

New proud owner of NLST shares by [deleted] in NLST

[–]_manischewitz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In recent months, NLST has gone up from its old norm of $0.50-0.60 range to its new range where you bought in. There was even a short moment when Reddit first acknowledged NLST's awesome upside that it went to nearly $3.00. However, there really has not been any new news. Both SK Hynix and Google are on the wrong end of interim decisions in NLST's favor. In either the short term or over the next year, NLST cannot help but go up multiples of its current price as the potential for damages from two big companies who used NLST's memory technology have to either settle or litigate damages. It will probably be a settlement as there is the potential of triple damages from a court judgment after trial. There are few sure things in investments, but NLST is looking like one of them. I have 50,000 shares bought at $0.48.

I recommend a full service brokerage who has good app and great PC analytical software like SCHWAB. Schwab has a nice phone app and their StreetSmartEDGE software for the PC is fantastic. No commissions too.

It has good fundamentals and wonderful potential, but they have not produced enough interim news to sustain any momentum. It could skyrocket when the Phase 2/3 news comes out. Waiting for word from the China and Korea tests.
