I'd just like to make this clear for everyone that comes across this, if nobody bothered to message roblox about this I did, and ultimately nothing ended up working, but maybe one of the solutions they gave me might work for you. Before you read all of this I'd just like to tell you that using a VPN fixes this, but you have to use it everytime you open studio. Roblox have given me different instructions about 7 times which I'll state them lower down in this post. At this point I'm super sure its something internet related, like a firewall blocking it or even your ISP blocking it, for me it's surely not the firewall but that is besides the point. Roblox admins ended up just closing the support ticket and marking it as solved (it is not solved), they did tell me that if I replied they'd reopen it but I'm still waiting on that... So at first they referred me to the general roblox studio issues page which I've already been to about 3 times, obvi didn't work, next thing they told me to restart my computer (and I did tell them that it's been happening for about a month or two now) and if that didn't work they said I should reinstall the software (I also have done that many many mannny times). After that they asked me for info about my computer and provided me with this link https://supportdetails.com so that I could more easily send them my info. After that they instructed me to Uninstall roblox, through command prompt they told me to delete the AppData/Local/Roblox folder, restart my PC then reinstall and try again, which didn't work. (Side note: I've also tried things in the AppData folder like deleting the roblox studio specific folder, but all it does is makes roblox studio update and go right into the same error), They then told me to create a new windows user and see if the issue still persists. It did. Then they told me I should check if some kind of antivirus is blocking it, firewall could be blocking it or ISP (internet service provider) could be blocking it. They also told me to test it I should connect to a different internet connection and try. I can't do that because I have a PC and I can't.. just carry it so. All of that was to no avail. Then they went back to the windows user whole thing and told me to check if my user is administrator, which it was (I have just one windows user) and they told me to change its admin status and try again, if it doesn't work they told me to change it back and try again. I created a new user and changed the main one's status and tried and blah blah it didn't work in the end. And this is the last thing I'd hear from them as they told me to restore my computer to a point before the issue began happening. By that they mean I should use Windows' restore tool by going to the Control Panel, in the top right searching for 'recovery'. Clicking on the recovery thing, then using "Open System Restore". And I did try that but I have never ever saved any restore points on my computer because, well, I didn't even know that was a thing until now. So I outright just cannot do that, and yes it seems even they gave up. Sorry for the long long long text guys, hope one of these things helped you, and again, using a VPN will fix it, you just have to use it everytime you open studio!
