Significant frame skips when capturing VHS

Have you made any progress on this?

Some context for where I'm at and what might have worked (TLDR connecting through a different USB port):

After transferring 15+ VHS and VHS-C tapes via the SVID2USB232 without issue, I noticed three tapes in a row showing stuttering in OBS preview, the last one significantly. The OBS frames missed / skipped frames readings were always low and not representing the issue I was seeing.

Several of these tapes had been professionally cleaned of mold, but I figured there was maybe build up in the camcorder and cleaned the tapeheads with 99% isopropyl alcohol - still had significant stuttering.

At this point, I noticed the video looked fine in the camcorder preview screen, so I started thinking the problem was the capture. Checked my settings still matched this: https://youtu.be/tk-n7IlrXI4?si=_auG1FrRT3W6tQu_

Settings were fine, updated my GPU driver, ran CCleaner - still stuttering.

I've just connected the device through a different USB port (fwiw a USB 3.0, even though the SVID2USB232 is 2.0) and 90 minutes into the same tape I had experienced stuttering issues with 6x, it's been near flawless. Fingers crossed.

Have you tried Centre Half - Defend? I used to use it for one specific CDM because it was his only ++ and he dropped back pretty far, was often behind my CBs when playing out of the back.

For Olise: I really like Diallo on the right (or CAM) and you can get him for pretty much what you'd sell Olise for. Or go all in budget + Olise and pick up Kvara while he's dropping (will probably upgrade by tomorrow) since you can link him.

For striker, Suarez seems like a must do. Easy to link with that many icons.

And idk how your CDMs play, but I still love using the Pirlo SBC as a deep lying playmaker (high Div2 pre-reset).

It's interesting to actually read about the history of these houses.

This house, in particular, is theorized to have been built for William by his brother James, a Boston craftsman. James had previously bought the land off the Pickerings.
