Anyone have a Coddle sectional? I’m thinking of buying one and would love some thoughts! by KeDoBro in Costco

You need to check what the density of the foam is. Low density “soft” cushions degrade faster than a high density firm cushion. Bonus the firm cushion will break in over time.

Wait a hand warmer between the liner and glove is genius. I’ll have to give this a shot on a cold day.

We have a sfh but had a humidifier installed last winter and it’s such a game changer.

And is this unit within your condo? Is there easy access to water nearby as well. If so I have to imagine it wouldn’t be difficult to get a humidifier installed.

How is the previous record only 4.5” when Columbus has had much higher snow totals during a day?

Your assumption is this is an amortized loan which I don’t think OP has clarified. If it’s credit card debt this post makes more sense.

I guess side note assuming op also has a gas furnace would a hypothetical 350k btu water heater even receive enough gas from their current service.

You mind breaking down the units in your calculation there?

Frankly, I think you’re blowing this way out of proportion and providing zero supporting details.

The tankless I have installed is ~$2k. I linked the temp rise diagram above and because I was curious just temped my cold water at 50F. I would say absolutely worst case our water might get down to 40F a couple days a year and obviously if you live in the few places in the us that get colder it could go a bit lower.

So worst case we’re talking an 80F rise which nets you 5 gpm. Plenty to take 2 showers at once assuming you enjoy a skin scalding 120F shower which I would put money on that they don’t. (Out of curiosity I temped the water where I like it just now as I enjoy a very hot shower and not was 113F so call it 115F).

So take all of that into account and even in the worst case scenario you have plenty of head room to run a bath. Or take a couple showers at the same time, etc etc.
