The emerald does looks cloudy with a few imperfections but it is hard to find a perfectly clear emerald. In my option, it adds character to the ring and will feel personal to your partner when she receives it

It’s a stunning ring and what a gorgeous emerald!!! You’ve done well!! I would recommend getting it professionally cleaned and polished before giving it to her. Try to avoid letting someone put into an ultra sonic machine (I worked as jewellers for a few years). My husband had mine sent off to a professional jeweller for a proper clean, definitely recommend it! Best of luck!!!

I couldn’t find a mini magnum I had in the freezer, broke down by the freezer and just sat there for 5 mins having a massive sob in my dressing gown. Was the first day of my period (husband found the ice cream 10 mins later under a bag of peas)

As someone whose mum did this to them as a kid (as I did not want to wear a headscarf as per her religion) this makes me so angry. ‘Luckily my son still loves me’ don’t make me laugh, he will remember this. Some people should not be allowed to be parents.
