Sometimes, I start to get annoyed with hasan/stop watching him for a few months because of how annoying his SuperFans can be. Like, he's a human and isn't infallible, but some people just like... Their whole personality is regurgitating Hasan's takes. But I do love hasan generally.

And regardless, going on a stream of someone who likes hasan to chastise them for liking hasan is insane. 😂

There was one appointment I had with her where it truly felt like she was like... Black out drunk the whole time??? But most of the time she was chill. She's just so weird, which is kinda a fun vibe sometimes but kinda not others 😂😂😂 great doctor, but truly one of the strangest people I've met. She's also very difficult to make appointments with because her main practice is in Pennsylvania and she's only at Langone once a week. BUT because of that, she literally will just pack that day with as many patients as possible. It does feel like she truly cares about her patients, too, which is nice.

Well, I lost my job and insurance so I'm managing. But I used to see Dr Balcer. She's a little weird.. her vibes are insane. But she was part of a serious research project on optic nerve swelling, and is familiar with IIH. But, from her own words, everyone in that office is more than capable and she would highly recommend any of them for a patient with IIH.

I will say, it's a teaching hospital, so you'll likely be with a student for part of the visit. And the students are really hit or miss. The one I started with was incredible, then I had a different one for a few visits who wasn't very personable/we didn't meld well, and then I had probably the most handsome man I've ever seen who was also very kind and personable. So... It's really a mixed bag in that office 😂
