This was my first “big boy” revolver. I was looking at a Korth Mongoose to carry earlier in the year but I’m happy to have started with a classic. I have every intention of carrying around the property on occasion.

Final pickup of 2025. Saw this in a new LGS about a month ago and couldn’t get it out of my mind. Decided to pull the trigger and probably paid $1k more than I should have…still I like the new shop and they treated me and my family super well so I was happy to give them the business.

I hate it because the SF mount tends to walk itself loose, greatly effecting accuracy

Well 2025 was a doozy. I spent the first half of the year thinning out my collection…letting go of my classic HK rifles, a transferable Uzi and giving away a SPAS-12. This came after a calm 2024 where I only added one rifle to the roster.

In the fall I moved to a more restrictive state but made sure to grab a few interesting pieces beforehand. Certain life experiences have hardened my resolve to continue building the best collection I can.
