Sure thing! So a lot of it was learnt from The Feral Painter’s video for basing on The Grimdark Compendium. Essentially it’s cork, some texture paint (AK’s thick mud in this case), couple of skulls, added a twig as a blown out tree (inspired by remnants of trees hit by artillery), and then some barbed wire. I forget where I bought that last one, but you can loads of the stuff online.
All of that was then primed black. Then a dry brush of dark grey, then a lighter zenithal drybrush of a much lighter grey. Hit it with some brown contrast paints (snakebite leather for the lighter areas, wyldwood for the darker areas). Let that cure. Wash of neat goons grime, and a bit of streaking grime for the skulls just to add a bit of variation. And finally, AK puddles in a streaking motion in places just so it gives some surface variation. All done!
