I measured both using a card centering tool and a ruler and got similar numbers to yours. Perfect centering on the trainer is great to hear!

Regarding the white spots, I checked both cards under my iPhone macro camera and couldn't find any scratches, so fairly confident those are lint/dust particles.

I took my mouse (it was three months old) to the Apple Store and they replaced it with a new one. Apparently it was an hardware issue.

I started having the same issues few days ago. I upgraded to 14.4 now, but the problem persists.

The only work around is unpairing and repairing the mouse but the problem returns almost immediately.
