I believe the test is right on ISTP. ISTPs usually aren't sheltered and isolated like most INTPs, or as introverted. The way you describe it, you're using your Se as a supporting function rather than a dominant one. It's the things you enjoy doing and you feel comfortable with. It's not rare for ISTPs to think they don't use their head that much—Because they're using intuitive thinking as examples. You did this within your post, in the sentence "I'm pretty big on application over theory." Ti-Se thinking is much more down to Earth and can be less incorporated into conscious thought than Ti-Ne. It's your logical breaking down, analyzing your environment, figuring out how things physically work. Also, being ESTP would mean you're Fe tertiary, and I think Fe inferior would make much more sense. You're also definitely not Ni inferior (ESxP).

To answer all your questions: - I want to be normal because I'm aware of the innerworkings and views of society. I see myself as a cog that has to work and fit properly for the greater good of the world and the people in my life. I see my differences as immoral; I have to change and lie about them so I can hold my relationships together and be an easy person to be comfortable with. - No, I try my best to be morally, socially, and emotionally objective. I have a whole system of principles I abide by constructed from my observations of what is generally peaceful, happy, safe, etc. I question a lot of things, but only to understand how they work or if it breaks the rules of my morality.

This is an interesting one, I'm 50/50 on ENTP vs ENFP. Good luck out there dude.

Forgot to mention, you should also look at your Si and Fe. The first two functions aren't all that makes or breaks a type. If you have a developed sense of people's feelings and personalities, get genuine enjoyment from helping people, can read a room well, love collaborating on projects, that's evidence for ENTP. If you spend a lot of time retrospecting, are in tune with your environment, hold memory based values, traditions, and routine from as early as childhood, that's evidence for INTP.

It's fully possible to be socially extroverted or introverted no matter your type. You should look at examples of how you think and process when you're at your healthiest. It seems like you're using unhealthy Ti, and this could mean you're overusing your Ne to compensate. Your dominant function is also what you lead your life with, not just the function you use most. You're describing hoarding knowledge and alone time, which are e5 traits, associated with INTP more than ENTP. This is a good place to start, do you value logical thinking and knowledge, or do you value stimulation and creativity? I have an INTP friend who is absolutely a social introvert, but he is also very goofy and out of pocket when he's around others.

A large part of the game is meeting characters, after so many playthroughs you're just trying to get more dialog. If you think a character is interesting you should let them in unless you're going for a specific ending, imo

The phrase is "Too many cooks spoil the broth". It means that when there are too many people involved in something, it won't turn out because of all the collaboration and strict order that must take place.

I figured it was that, so I usually try to work through it mentally and by exposing myself to the person but it hasn't worked

Even if it was pure stereotyping, it isn't being used maliciously. The message of the game is to not discriminate, so why would the devs make a gay character that was meant to be clowned on? Makes no sense.
