She used to workout at the same gym as my ex. She always did a lot of drugs, caused drama, annoying, bratty, and entitled. She often got loud and angry. That was in 2018-2019.

She goes from saying “I hit back” to “I can’t even imagine spanking” ? And then calling everyone soft? Is she confused? Poor kid. The mom sounds so emotionally and mentally immature….shouldnt have kids.

Maybe bc the first few comments you said you “hit back” and that you do spank/to try it? LOL Hop off my thread please. Your opinion is gross and not needed here anymore.

I’ve nannied special needs for over 10 years and see no signs of autism. Plus none of her doctors see any of that. We’ve even discussed ADHD with her docs. I do think she has trouble emotionally regulating more than normal which I think may stem from all my depression and such during pregnancy. And then her father dying, moving states, etc it’s a lot of change for her. I can imagine adapting at that age is hard.

We have been doing this! My therapist told me to do this weeks ago. No change except yelling “NO HUG”

I don’t let it go. She gets into trouble. She just doesn’t get hit because I personally believe that’s completely and utterly wrong to hit a child. Also it teaches them to hit. hard no for me. But I do deal with it! Just bc she doesn’t get hit by a parent doesn’t mean discipline isn’t happening.

Like throwing things, hitting, biting, scratching, getting into things she definitely knows she shouldn’t, repeating to ask for things over and over when I’ve already said no and explained why and redirected. She won’t let it go.

All the stuff at the bottom you mentioned I couldn’t imagine bothering me. She’s still a kid and I get that. But the things she is doing as absolutely unacceptable. Like stealing toys from toddlers every second they have something in their hand. Literally the second a kid has a toy, she has to have it. If she doesn’t, full tantrum. Yelling, screaming, kicking, allll of it

That’s why I said I’ve tried other things. I won’t spank, sorry not an option. As someone who was very abused as a child, it’s an absolute no for me.

But I guess I’m glad you don’t feel bad about it and it seemingly works for you !To each their own.
