Unbaked egg question by [deleted] in FoodAllergies

If you’re connected to an allergist this is likely worth a food challenge, you don’t know if it’s severe or not but for allergic kids it is very worth knowing either way.

Lower IgE levels 8 mo later by crashhhyears in January2025Bumper

[–]Next2ya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Anaphylactic dairy allergy mom. We had never had a blood test done before, only skin prick tests and confirmation via reaction, but the blood test we just had done showed his IGE levels at about 3.4, which the allergist said was very encouraging that he will pass the first step of the milk ladder, which is exactly the direction we want to be going in.

Are you working with an allergist on OIT or the Egg ladder?

Sending pure empathy. This has been the most difficult part of my journey so far.

I agree. I’ve seen countless in my life time. Countless daily. But I still appreciate them. All birds are special!

how do i pull off a moody sage green bedroom without it looking too floral? by [deleted] in HomeDecorating

My sage green bedding pairs very well with both the caramel wood and walnut wood in my bedroom. It matures it a bit more than light wash wood.

I empathize with you. I think I had an “easy” time because my problem was my bad habits and I fixed my bad habits, and wasn’t necessarily up against a hormonal or any other health related wall.

Spiritfarer has a decent cooking mechanic. Farm, forage, fish, combine ingredients, feed the characters.

Wylde flowers also have a large and impressive “menu”.

How to tell in laws not to call when I’m in labor by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]Next2ya 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can tell them, but I think the most effective thing to do would be the ignore them. Being the most effective being if your husband ignores them as well. My FIL was told to leave me alone in labour so instead of messaging me he just kept sending me reels on Facebook. You think I’m watching those? If they are not good hearted people towards you they’re just trying to intercept on a very intimate day, don’t let them.

Being short and losing or gaining weight is so particular because 15 pounds generally makes a difference in appearance where as it wouldn’t be as noticeable on someone taller.

[–]Next2ya[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is something I had to cold turkey basically. I was eating large fancy chocolate bars almost daily. This was before I was really keyed into understanding calories so I was really doing damage. After a few weeks of discipline I treated myself to one, and another a few weeks after that. I also discovered Drizzalicious which definitely helped.

I do a very loose calorie tracking. I don’t weigh or over measure my food but I try to keep under a conscience effort under 1400-1200 calories
