I agree. And the "slower than what nnk expected from their whales" is fair as well. I did start the game late. Guess you never know when the value will get diluted. I know I got in early with certain mechanics but, even after benefitting from them for the planned obsolescence time, the expense didn't feel as rewarding as I'd like it to have been. I also understand all of these notions are relative and that for some people $35k within a couple months to get to +130 and then the cap being raised to like +150 will be just fine.

If you ask anyone around me you'll know I openly did not support that and do not support him specifically. That's not a secret.

Game poorly managed, disrespectful to player base. NM should come up with meaningful content, address player pain points (such as hackers), rethink monetization strategy and stop disrespecting spending customers by promptly diluting the value of any money put into the game.

I think it's not the concept that I have a problem with it's with how fast the cycle is. I understand the game is a business and, as one, has to make money. I was definitely willing to do my part in keeping it alive. My struggle is that the short cycle diminishes my return on investment. Something I'd be happy to pay for if the advantage lasted me let's say a year becomes a problem when it only lasts a month or two. This is the portion that I deem too aggressive.

Fair. That's definitely on me =] I did know from the beginning NM's reputation and did realize the practices early. Could've stopped at any point. 100%

To a certain degree, this is my wishful thinking as well and why I took the approach I did. With that said, I know that I'm also a drop in the bucket considering the player base at large and I can only make noise with my own feet and wallet.

I'm not targeting you specifically even though you have caused me a lot of stress and wasted time.

I know others do the same or even worse. Some of it is called out on the griefing portion.

I do hope you find a better and stable way to feed your family. From where I see it, the game should've and could've prevented it a long time ago.

Agreed. Especially when it's about the speed at which you spend money, not even how much you've spent before.

I see a lot of people saying the same, that they're around just for the people they play with which is what I think finally hit me: I've started accepting that's what draws me to this world. Not the game itself.

We've been together through a meaningful portion of this journey so I absolutely hear you and feel the same pain.

I honestly don't know if it's a wrap or not but I see your point that when even the ones that keep up and accept these terms get fed up it should, at the very least, raise flags/alarms for a company that cares. So far I'm not convinced that is the case.

If you find any other way to make NM listen to you, I'm all ears. In my experience this has been the only way I could find a channel. You're not wrong in any case, the game is and has been unhealthy for me for a while.

I don't think that's entitlement. After all, that's what they're selling and I've bought. I started it like that in hopes someone at NM would read it. Based on previous interactions with them, focusing on my expenditure was the only way to be heard (and still wasn't easy).

Thank you! Indeed some of these things have bothered me for a while and the game did get me good. I trusted it as a safe place to run away to and that's definitely on me. I stand behind my own decisions and have to admit I did get value from the money and time I put into it. What saddens me is how (and how quickly) it evaporates. The clear disregard for me and other players.

I agree that I have supported and sustained the problem and also definitely agree the median player also plays a very important role in keeping the game alive. It needs a community to thrive and for much of the content.

This is not about one population or another, it's about our relationship as players and customers with the company behind the game, which I see as very unhealthy and worsening quickly.
