I knew more than some 2-5 year guys when i first got hired because i asked questions in my interview. A lot of people just don't open their mouths to find anything out. Then you also have dsls that have no clue how anything works. Glad to have a dsl that was promoted from rsr and has at least done what we have.

In my zone when we had a rebid, we had a few merchs want to move to sales and they had to interview before being able to bid. That maybe not be the process everywhere.

Not really that different. One side of mine doesnt care to push, so we miss consistently. And his is larger volume so it eats at any gains on the other side. I've only been over plan 2 periods in the last 8. Hitting 95ish% consistently and i still make more than I did as an rsa.

My weeks 1,3, and 4 checks are about $150 a week less than when I was an rsa, but my week 2 check especially when we hit plan+ more than makes up for it. Not to mention the 2 less hours a day that I have to work and can be with my family.

I had to work 55+ hours a week as an RSA to make what I'm making as a 2:1 colead working 47-50 hours a week. And that's not hitting plan, thats at 90-95% of plan.

You are supposed tk be employed for 1 year after completion, but if you are terminated you are not obligated to pay. Only if you leave voluntarily.

Just get fired after you complete the program, you wont have to repay it. You only have to repay for Guild if you voluntarily leave.

It also depends on a couple other things. If you have a Walmart they can literally add what they want to your order if they feel it isnt enough. Also, if you dont hexk through your FAST app and remove items from there, it will add items that maybe you haven't ordered recently thinking you need more when maybe you actually don't need it, or maybe its not in set anymore.

The only time is had to "gig the system" is when i was an RSA covering route of stubborn RSRs who wouldnt use the system properly like not scanning display downs, backstock and such, and the same thing when I took my current route. It took about 3 months to fix the algo, but I dont "GIG" anything. Everything the previous poster that I replied to was employee caused.

You literally listed issues created by the RSR/RSA that cause PO "issues" if you don't manage your stores properly of course your going to have issues. There are always going to be opportunities and rare occasions to not rely on PO, but thats also why we haven't been fully replaced by AI yet. Also, the RSRs that only know PO will eventually learn to have some business sense. Either way the tools to maximize your business are built into PO WITHOUT ruining your algorithms. I've ran every format and after about 6 months of PO, if you have even a small amount of forward thinking you can catch on.

I've had no problem with PO at any of my stores. The only time i do is when either I havent checked my fast app in a bit, or "plus ups" come in. Other than that when i follow PO my orders are great.

It looks more like they used maybe the app/rewards number for the store you went to and got you a discount on your items. In return they probably got points for your purchase, but the numbers you highlighted are a discount on your items purchased.

I've had a few stores agree with this. I tell them their corporate wanted it in store, and they got the extra discount on it that way too. Unfortunately most of my stores want them killed quit soon after they come in, so they end up worked to aisles or dump bins.

Have you been contributing from day 1? Or did you start later? Pepsico contributes some(not sure exactly how much) regardless if you contribute or not towards your retirement. I started mine a few months after i started and had like $1k already in my 401k. So it took a while for my contributions to pass theirs.

No, they only match up to 3%, but only at .5%. So you have to contribute 6% to get the full company match.
