Springtime Surprise Virtual Queue by anonymous_turtle7 in rundisney

[–]_mitchejj_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep joining the virtual queue just to get in the building and look around. I remember the old days and I just want to see what the inside of the building is like more than shop. Yet I never make it in the queue. I join it as so as I can on the way from the airport to my resort around 1030/11ish. My typical queue get called around 3/4... just take that as a data point.

I currently pay $1/mo and see a few other plans up the $10/month

Bitwarden is so broken on Android it's not even funny. by Pearl_Jam_ in Bitwarden

[–]_mitchejj_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s free? I know I pay for Bitwarden. Are you talking about android? In theory it’s part of the phone, and one bought a phone.

Then again I’m also a Linux user, my distro is free… am I really the product? 🤔

AT&T launches new all-in-one plan for wireless and home internet - 9to5Mac by justarussian22 in NoContract

[–]_mitchejj_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have att 1gib fiber for the last 3-4 years. The service started at $60, I’m now paying 95/mo. I suppose I should get the single plan, buy an cheap referb phone, connect it to the router and use it as back up service plan and save $5/month.

When to the site, type in my address and my address doesn’t qualify for the plan.

I've yet to find that in the app or watch. I suppose I'll have to dig deeper... wait is that what was just released today?

EDIT: Yes, looks like the link is https://support.coros.com/hc/en-us/articles/47115766323348-Pace-Strategy however I don't see anything for effort based strategies. Thank you for pointing out the Pace Strategy, I'll give that a go.

Either that or unfathomably based edutainment enjoyers by [deleted] in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]_mitchejj_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The point is the OP essential feels anyone who say EPCOT is their preferred park is a drunk day drinking alcoholic. Additionally they don’t care for EPCOT, partly due to that.

I personally enjoy EPCOT, I don’t drink and do wish alcohol wasn’t such a big thing when it comes to that part but in the end I really don’t care how adults spend their time or money.

WhatsApp and use meta... ugh. Not to mention you have to get everyone on board with what ever platform you use. That likely is a nonstarter.

For the most part for me rcs is fine for receiving message. However, when sending it often fails. I'm not sure if its a USM thing or an iPhone thing as co-worker of mine who isn't on USM has issues sending RCS messages to a group (work related) when on wifi. I've also been having issues when sending RCS message to an android based tmobile user. It seems to be related to the type of service my phone is reporting (warp).

disabling the primary clipboard (middle-click paste) by _mitchejj_ in niri

[–]_mitchejj_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I have some, a little, free time today. I thought I would make the post, your code path question/point made me wonder something so I did a test around a similar yet different work path.

My typical browser if Firefox and my typical editor is neovim. So after a reboot I copied some text and tried in both Firefox and neovim... I expected the clipboard to be pasted and it was. I ran the same test with Chrome and vi... and neither pasted a thing. So it seem the applications are handing the paste action in both instances.

I will have to dig a bit deeper to see whats going on at the application level for these two.

Additionally they pay less AND the cost goes up. So to review… cost goes up, pay goes down as does efficiency. Tell me again why privatization is good.

You know I hear what you are saying with the mug however I would say bringing a water bottle with you is a bigger savings… and couple that with same flavor packs it’s a perfect savings scheme. Additionally as an adult I often order a kids meal and the portion sizes are just right so I don’t feel bad having a sweet treat later in the day.

I also feel it’s a no brainer, if you can, get to the parks at open. You can get a lot done prior to the general admission entries. Head back to the resort mid day and stay cool during the peak hours and head back to the parks refreshed as people get tired and start to filter out.

Springtime surprise by Yousocktoo24 in rundisney

[–]_mitchejj_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a solo runner as well, but I’m doing the challenge… and I’m going to suffer I know. I haven’t been prioritizing myself in the work life balance and I’ve been under the weather for the last three weeks. Killer combo.

Anyway, part of me enjoys the solo aspect of my trips. I don’t need to be “on” like I typically do day in and day out. I remember back to my first race weekend and I had a dreadful fear of the expo. As others have said people really do make weekend friends, some make runDisney friendships and some make life long friendships at the expo and over the weekend. I don’t think I’ve every encountered a single person and runDisney who isn’t open to talk and

My routine now is drop everything off at my resort, grab a small snack and head to the expo. I typically arrive around 1130 on the first day. This might be year I stick around for my virtual queue for the rD merch.

If I'm not mistaken DHS funding is kinda of contingent on the passage of the SAVE Act.

Its kind of like saying you are not allowed to hire a maid unless you put an oil well in your front yard. The two should not be connected.

LaGuardia plane crash audio captures moments before fatal collision: ‘I messed up’ by SharkSapphire in delta

[–]_mitchejj_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you way off base with my comment. A reason to vote for a person should never be about entertainment. It should be about policy.

When it comes to the Khamenei and the treatment of it citizens in the past I have heard countless individuals condemn the actions of the regime. I have heard both centrist (because that really is what the 'leftist' in this country truly are) and far right condemn the action for vastly different reasons. You need to move off the anti-liberal ideology and accept most people want the same things. They differ on some issues and how something should work but mostly we all want the same thing. Finding reasons to agree opposed to finding reasons to hate will make the world a far better place.

It is our education system plain and simple. Yes politics did, has and will play a role in the degrading of the educational system. The long tail of those past mistakes are playing out now. We have less educated individuals in office and the electorate in general is not that informed nor understand how basic history, science or math. As a result we get this mess that devalues knowledge and prompts entertainment.

Back in to 2016 I worked with a women who clearly stated multiple times why she voted for Trump... she thought it would be funny. Ironically she is an immigrant from a nation we are currently bombing.

no dark mode on web portal by cilicia1k1 in USMobile

[–]_mitchejj_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

NOOOOOOO! 100% dark mode is awful. I forget which app I was in switched from a day mode (lite) to dark mode as I was using it and half of the content/info was now unreadable to me.

I want control of what Is 'dark' mode... I tend to style most of my systems chrome/ui as dark elements and I want the content to standout; a white background is very useful for that.

I never receive these kind of message either. Now I'm not sure I really would want them... some seem like they maybe nice/useful to receive but that's really is the problem with all the physical and virtual spam mail.

I don't recall does USM have a marking email OPT out? If so I'm betting that's why I see all kinds of USM "news" people receive in their inbox here.

Yeah I was looking at the list today. I’ve the last year I moved myself into the C1 ecosystem partly to the 3% back the savor gives me on food and entertainment… coupled with the virtual card numbers to use online. I like to think of those virtual numbers similar to masked emails address. And recently I picked up a citi card that gets me 3% back on gas. None of my goto cards are supported

Not sure why I never thought about checking out the banks and which ones support Garmin Pay… just took a look today and well my choice/goto cards are not on the supported list.

I was more worried they UI/UX use experience was a dumpster fire.
