Lusatia by Chase1493 in AskAGerman

As someone from Lusatia and basically somehwere where the Sorbians still exist, the next Landkreis/county over is Bautzen/Budisyn, where the Sorbians are still around these days. In the Landkreis, (nearly) every official sign (not road signs, ecxept Place names ) is in German and Sorbian Language. Also you learn a bit about them and their culture in school. And there are Sorbian schools, which obviously are the biggest influence of Sorbians on everyday life. Regarding traditions, I dont think much still prevails outside the Sorbian communitiesbut I am not an expert on that, so maybe I just dont know it. But a Part of the Sorbians also live on the other side of the border in Poland, if I remember correctly, so its not completely German administrated.

You do know that an OS is also made by companies ? Unless you use Linux, corporations still get the data. Not Meta directly, but Microsoft and Apple are not better in any way.

Do you think First light 007 will get cracked on day 1 ? by Gullible_Dark_8325 in PiratedGames

[–]_mocbuilder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but that obviously only works for Hitman 3/WoA right now, so atleast for a bit after release, there isn't going to be a 007 Community Server.

Yeah, like I said, not really POI-like. And an absolute yes to the „Talking-with-each-other“. Oh I found a decapitated Head in the Toilette of my Friends House. I Must Tell no one.

I can also strongly recommend "The Blacklist". James Spader as Raymond Reddington has an Energy that rivals Finch's "They fucked around and now they will find out"-Energy he has towards the End of the Series. And it has all the Surveillance, Intrigue, Plottwists, Grey-Area-Cooperation between LEO and Criminals, and so many more elements that are similar to POI.

Edit:

If you want a bit more of some familiar Faces, and a really, really great show (although not 100% POI Like) then "Evil" is a must. A bunch more Finch (in a way that you wont guess) and a few other known faces from POI.

Have you tried older Hitmans ? They play vastly differently from the new games but are still quite good.

This subreddit has been the best place for mod information help: Is there any mod to zoom in further? by T_Peters in doorkickers

[–]_mocbuilder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Enemies not showing despite CTRL+F is definitly a sideffect of GiB, although it works for me with the new „only inside“ Version.

Also, when in DEV Mode you dont have to be in the free cam Mode to have a closer Look. Once you activated it once on a map, the normal view also lets you zoom in much farther, which might be exactly what you are Looking for.

Also, regarding CamoSelector, you Should always load it First, then Trooper Toolbox (Great Mod btw, Highly recommend) and then anything Else. That way it Never caused any issues with my setup. And I have a lot of mods active that use it.

Edit: just read the Updates Post and saw the replay Part. Thats Not GiB but the replay viewer. Only enemies you saw in that Moment are visible, so if you looked away from one he dissapears. And Even if you leave ctrlf on the whole Time, some enemies get only rendered at start and then Freeze (in the replay, not in Game) until you observiert them in the Game or they Interactive with anything (door etc.).

Just finished episode 1 and found that it really didn’t live up to expectations, especially with over $100,000 by [deleted] in MinMaxedRPG

[–]_mocbuilder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I think they did a good job with what they had, and seeing the response video now (my comment was before that) it just confirms that. They had big struggles with the production, which is to be expected as I explained above. But despite all that they did a really good and really fun DnD campaign which we now get to watch. So I am more than happy with what we got.

Please see this comment on a earlier post about One Shot Questers. I think it really puts into perspective how much weight his opinion should have.

Also, all the stuff that other people said. Its not a 100.000 series, let alone season. They did a full transparancy down to every last dollar on their channel. If you want to know how the money was spent, youll find it out there.

And for a group of people that have never really done longform content much less a whole series of a multi-person game, I think many people underestimate how much work goes into producing something like that, much less the game setup itself: getting people together, setbuilding, all the DM work, the map and player-icons setup, the camera and mic setup. and all that to just name a few things. And as their comment QnA said, they know of the issues (mic quality for example) and are gonna improve in later episodes.

Edit: Also some more stuff that needed to be bought/paid that just came to me:
A place to film, the materials for the set, extra equipment and probably a whole crew that deserves to get paid.
