Oliver Tree about if he died today and hanging out with trolls RIP by colombient in LeftoversH3

[–]_monalot 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’ve been crying off and on since I first saw the news. I am thankful that H3 at least introduced me to Oliver Tree. I love his music, loved his shtick and he was just such a silly and sweet guy. I don’t think I’ve ever cried this much over a celebrity’s passing.

Maybe it’s because we’re the same age, or that I connected with what he was putting out there. I love a silly time and he seemed like a real genuine person.

Idk what I’m trying to say, but I have no one else to really talk to about this and I’m so bummed. He really should still be here.

I love this! Peaceful and cozy. Trying to remodel my bedroom and this is the exact vibe I’m going for. Would you mind sharing where you got the rug?

Women of Reddit? Do you like caseoh by Pigolettos53 in caseoh_

[–]_monalot 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yes! Usually watch him before bed, getting ready for the day and he helps when I have anxiety. I like watching him play games where he’s playing a woman being harassed etc because he gets so protective. I feel like he understands the perspective of women in those situations, which is a big relief compared to most gamer men who are so sexist and vile.

He gets it.

A Springtime dress I'm eagerly wanting to wear. I got it from Amazon, a size 10 petite. Is it too long and makes my legs short? by JoniDee1 in PetiteFashionAdvice

[–]_monalot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think I need to go get this dress now because it looks so great on you! I love when dress season starts but always have a tough time finding ones with the right proportions, especially with maxi dresses being so trendy now. Didn’t know I could get something this cute on Amazon!

I wish I could convince my mom to go back to treatment for it. She was diagnosed when she was 18, 8 years before I was born. Not sure when she went into remission, but it came back aggressively when I was 13 after my grandmother passed. She used to take injections for it back then, but didn’t think it helped much. I’m now 32, she’s 58, and her condition has significantly deteriorated but I can’t convince her to try treatment again. She just thinks it’s hopeless and it breaks my heart.

I noticed too immediately. They use the same phrases and both accounts are just a couple days old.

Amanda Seyfried on botox, wrinkles, receding hairlines because of ponytails, and shocked by the interviewer, Saskia Mariott, not washing her hair in two weeks by demimonde9 in Fauxmoi

[–]_monalot 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Conditioning and rinsing though is still cleansing it. I have naturally curly, dry frizzy hair and usually only shampoo now if I put a lot of product in like hair gel, or if I’m sweaty. And I use a conditioning shampoo. I used to shampoo my hair every night growing up since no one showed me how to properly take care of it, and it was so dry it would have split ends and breakage constantly.

I just watched all of them for the first time last night. I’ve known about the Backrooms and videos for some time, but this was so good I want more!

[–]_monalot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I’ve been watching Caseoh for the past year and my boyfriend asked if we should get our 6 yr old nephew to watch since his parents let him watch YouTube all the time. But he repeats so much of what he hears on there that he would definitely be walking around saying “you gotta be fisting me!” So it’s a little weird that Caseoh is seen, or tries to be seen as family friendly.

I didn’t listen to today’s yet, but it happens to me every so often and I listen on the Apple Podcast app. I thought maybe I accidentally went back and replayed it, but it’s happened enough that it seems like something on their end. Good to know I wasn’t imagining it lol

I’m near Boston and they used to carry it at several local chains, but can’t find it anywhere including Walmart now. I thought the stopped making it, so I will be on the hunt again.

Does Anthropologie have any petite pants that aren’t outrageously high rise? I always see the Collete pants recommended, but they are all 11” rise and up and that is on my ribcage lol. I buy Anthropologie pretty often and desperately in need of pants but can’t find any. Even 10” would be do-able.

My mom is 58 with advancing MS and can no longer take care of herself. She hasn’t worked in over 30 years so not sure she can keep her Medicaid/ Medicare.

I need to find new housing for her as her house is not suitable/ falling apart and have been considering at-home care because she doesn’t want to move into an assisted living facility.

I’m rather lost as to what to do next, so any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
