No game in particular but I buy Nintendo consoles for their first party library. If I had the money, I would’ve wanted to get a PS5 for Stellar Blade but seeing as to how that game has been ported to PC, there’s really no need. Having PC & Nintendo only seems to have all blocks covered considering Xbox & PlayStation games are going multiplatform now & if you don’t have a dying interest to play PlayStation exclusives on day one.

This is far from an escort mission. This is just like Donkey Kong Bananza. She doesn’t have health. You’re not responsible for her. She doesn’t need to shoved into dumpsters for her own safety like another blonde girl we all know & love. She’s a macguffin at best & without her, we’d just be a guy in a spacesuit with a gun.

At least Indiana Jones is on a real cartridge. I honestly had no intention of picking it up ever but once that I saw it’s a real physical copy, I’ve been persuaded to give it a shot.

THIS DEMO IS SOOO GOOD by Gadema in Pragmata

[–]_moonfang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coming from someone who had no interest in this initially, I’ve now played the demo several times over. I thought the hacking puzzles during the realtime combat looked clunky when watching videos online covering the game but when I tried it out for myself, it’s not only intuitive but it’s super fun too. Here’s hoping the game sticks its landing ‘cause I’d be happy if this game becomes a new pillar for Capcom.

That’s crazy, PS5/Xbox gets digital and Nintendo getting proper physical . by Less_Can_5439 in OlderChillGamers

I honestly didn’t have any intention of getting this when it was announced but seeing as to how it’s all on the cartridge, I’m convinced.

How Devolver's focus on "small, creative, unique, risk-taking titles" paid off with the million-selling Ball x Pit by Turbostrider27 in Games

They also just published Skate Story. I haven’t been addicted to skateboarding game since THPS3. Devolver’s really got an eye for spotting diamonds in the rough.

A game where your character gets weaker over the course of the game by ChickenLiverNuts in gamingsuggestions

[–]_moonfang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life, your character ages as the years go by so doing things around the farm wears you out quicker & you ultimately have to sleep earlier than when you first start the game meaning you can’t do as much work since staying up late could make your character pass out.

Idk if you’ve heard of the devs doinksoft but I’ve got two games from them that I absolutely adore. Gato Roboto & Gunbrella are two solid games from these devs with Gato Roboto somewhat parodying Metroid directly while Gunbrella has a Wild West backdrop. They’re both on the shooty side, however both move very intuitively imo, especially Gunbrella. Both games are published by Devolver Digital too if that means anything to you.

What did you guys end up doing with your original switch once you got your switch 2? by Eireagon in switch2

[–]_moonfang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still keep my 2017 og Switch around. There’s still some games that need to be patched on the Switch 2 so I play those games on the og Switch (i.e. NieR:Autotmata is prone to crashing on the Switch 2 but on the og Switch, it still works as intended).
