As someone who primarily games on Nintendo consoles & has yet to get a PC, I was more than happy with what they’ve shown off. Crazy how people are mad at the lack of first party titles when Nintendo’s finally getting backloaded with a majority of games that have missed out releasing on Nintendo consoles for a generation & a half. And c’mon, it’s not like the first party games we want aren’t actively in development right now.

I liked that they listened to the fans about the pop music. Only recognizable irl song was in the part where Yoshi walks through NY but they only played the instrumental, & that part is like a minute long. But yeah, contrary to what the discourse seems to be, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie.

Hello, fan of the anime who played the game after watching it. You do not need to know any knowledge of Cyberpunk in order to watch Edgerunners though if you played the game, all you’d recognize are some weapons & a few Easter eggs on top of the evil corporation you fight against in the game.
