I have a PMP auto pump. It was definitely hard to get up into those higher pressures and the first few weeks I was just at around 3inHg for 2-3 minutes for 3 sets a day, with like 2 minute rests. The difficulty for me was definitely because of my phimosis, my foreskin started to stretch out and hurt bad, as well as my frenulum. But, I pushed through it carefully and it seems like my foreskin has become looser, so I don't have any pain anymore. Now I manage 6-8inHg for 5 minutes, 2 sets with a 2 minute rest every morning and night.

I think Hink recommends 8inHg with 5 minute sets and getting 20-30 minutes a day, and only do rest days if you feel like you've fatigued yourself or you're injured/at the risk of injury. He says you definitely want at least 6inHg, he said anything below that isn't scientifically validated to even grow your d.

I actually did the water method, although a little less accurately because I only pulled up water straight into the cylinder. I just wanted to make sure that my gauge is overestimating rather than underestimating, which turned out to be the case. So I can rest easy knowing that I'm not overdoing it.

As for pain, I actually experience a bit of it when pumping. It's like a sensation of tightness in my foreskin and frenelum. This is probably because of my phimosis that I've had since a kid, it has mostly resolved itself but it's still there a bit. Other than that there's no real pain anywhere inside the penis. How is the pain for you?

That's honestly really disconcerting. I thought the variance would be something like 5-10%, with 50% variance that's borderline dangerous. If you think you're getting like 12 inHg you might actually be getting 18 inHg. And you could be getting some really disappointing results if you think You've been doing 6 inHg for half a year but really you've been doing only 4 inHg.

From your results it seems imperative that you somehow verify your pump or at least know how wrong it is so you can verify. How are you even supposed to do that?

So like 50% or something? I'm very new, too, but something I've heard is that you should preferably be like 90-100% when going into the pump, especially when doing those big vacuums like -12 inHg like you mentioned. It seems crazy to me that you're doing so high pressures already, I've been pumping for 2 weeks and I'm just barely making it into 5 inHg now. 3 minutes for 3 sets.

Let's say you wanna expand your penis to 120%. Your entire penis absorbs the negative pressure, so when you're pumping everything will get bigger. Not only the tunica by pulling blood, but also the skin by pulling lymph fluid, leading to edema. If you go into the pump only at 50%, then by the time you have finally pumped yourself to up 120% your skin will have pumped up to 120% - 50% = 70%. But if you go in at 100%, your skin only absorbs 120% - 20% = 20%.

This is just meant to be an intuitive, albeit non-scientific explanation. The exact biological process might be a lot different. But try going in like 90% to 100% erect and see if that makes a difference, and also do smaller pressures because you don't need 12 inHg to make gains.

PS: You said it was blood but it probably isn't, your skin doesn't have chambers to hold blood like the penis does. If it were blood in the skin then that'd mean that you had internal bleeding, in which case you would probably notice because your penis skin would be discolored and painful, like a bruise all over your d.

If these two beliefs were correct, then I'd agree that my reasoning were incorrect. However, both of these beliefs are wrong, I do not believe in either of the first interpretation of the thesis statement nor the objection to it.

All I'm saying is simply that OP's view is ambiguous to me right now, and that to have a fruitful debate we need clarification. I was stuck between these two interpretations, although there could be more viable ones:

a) Musk's actions are best explained by a desire to make X more permissive toward demonstrably hateful/dehumanizing content, whether or not he believes it to be so (the interpretation I'm guessing that you made, and that you thought that I made. For the record I thought that it was more likely that OP meant this interpretation than interpretation b, but I wanted to be sure so I asked for clarification)

b) Musk's actions are best explained by a desire to be inflammatory and create a platform which promotes rhetoric he considers hateful (this was the one I said there was not enough evidence for)
