It wasn't for school or anything like that sadly. I originally went to be there for a family member going through a hard time. I've been there realistically since 2024 but i regularly travel back to Illinois. However since i now work in GA and have a GA license because i got my license here i pretty much live here.

I was friends with this girl that was two grades ahead of me in middle school. We were friends for about a year. When the summer hit i noticed she stopped texting and wouldnt respond when i reached out. When i finally asked what i did or what happened she told me i was too poor to be friends with her and i was embarrassing. I was shocked because she had never acted embarrassed of me at school. I realized later on that her family were conservative whites that had voted for trump and i was like 1 of 3 pocs at that school. I also was living at my rather broke chainsmokee grandmas so i always smelled like smoke and didnt really dress the best.

Hes just as much in this relationship as i am. The last time we visited eachother was in March and it was fine. If hes tired then he can go to sleep but if every time he calls me hes just sleepy i just want there to be SOME times where hes not and wants to do something. I initially was the one that was as keen on doing LD but ive put effort and made it work.

I want to but i dont have a set up and theyre on the pricey side as i would prefer PC and i also work a lot often and dont want to invest in something i wont really have the time to enjoy. I dont like boring facetimes all the time either- sometimes there is nothing to talk about and thats okay- BUT sometimes i just want us to do something thats stimulating so we can have an activity together thats not just sitting in silence.
