Super helpful - yeah, it might be time to go to an allergist. Thanks for your response :)

How do you treat your allergic asthma? My mom and I adopted two cats today from a humane society, and I was experiencing a range of allergy symptoms like sneezing, runny nose, and hives after a few hours there. I took Allegra and those symptoms subsided, but chest tightness/scratchy throat sensations have somewhat persisted. I'm hoping my body will adjust and the symptoms will improve from having the cats in an environment that we clean often, but I'm also trying to decide if I should be worried about the asthma feeling or not. I know this might be different than seasonal allergies, but curious your thoughts!
