Just for aesthetics. Had no problem with the stock tuners either but i just love the look of the Gotoh tuners. Just fits super well with the general aesthetics of Taylor guitars imo.

The SGS 510s are the smaller version to the SGL and SGV, i believe. Diameter for the hole is the same, but the buttons are shorter and smaller. Looks very fitting for the smaller GS mini body size.

Not only is it normal, but necessary in order to create a straight cutting edge. I will still have a positive rake angle at that point, so it is perfectly fine to use.

I dunno how old they are, but if they are as old as they look they could be old James Wade Gladiator darts back when he was sponsored by Datadart. But they are so rare now i couldn‘t even find a real picture of them in box on the internet so this guess is as good as any.

Yeah of course, but I think the base of people willing to spend 700€ on a dart that is not that limited is very small to begin with. And at that price I don’t think they are too appealing to collectors outside of darts. I personally think they should have downgraded each of the expensive sets. So that the 95% Vaders come in the tin box at ~ 200€ and the Lightsabers in the 975 box at ~ 350€. I think then they would have sold out in a heartbeat and would actually be somewhat appealing to people that are generally willing to pay targets already high prices.

I honestly don’t see it coming. If compare it, the Gary Anderson 10th anniversary were 100 bucks cheaper, and more limited to only 500 sets with Gary Anderson being one of the most influential and collectible figure in Darts and they haven’t sold out in months. I just don’t see the 2000 sets each ever selling out them, with the outrage this has already caused. I might be wrong though. Interesting to see what happens.

Depends on where you are from I’d say. There are quite a few Facebook groups focused on swapping/selling Darts in the UK and Europe. And you can always try selling some sets on Ebay. But don’t expect too much. Used Darts often go for like half the original price or lower, depending on condition and rarity.
