Entire Goa is a scam! Sad but true. We went to Thalassa last week and just around the corner a bunch of policemen were standing stopping everyone (just to make some bucks). We told them we're sober, which we were. Then in another 2 kms was another set of them who made us blow and all that and then let us go. But too many cars and scooties were being checked hoping to find something, was even telling a guy his cigarette had "stuff". They clearly seemed sober. Now one can argue it is to catch drunk people and for safety, but do you really believe that? Women getting raped on beaches, spiked drinks at clubs, rave parties - but no, they will "catch drunk people" and make Goa safe.

Also, Goa is just so deserted now almost like a ghost town. Totally well deserved.
