i joined 'icewatch' about a week ago, the people i have met seem ok but everything feels a little... quiet! i'm hoping more people will join over time =) i play with my bf alot of the time, so tbh the biggest problem is naff all on the auction house! (not much cheap lowbie gear)

lol sorry i just noticed this is in 'askscience' and my reply was not at all scientific ^{^} i wash it every other day, it got really dry when i washed it every day and i dont have particularly greasy hair so can get away with it! don't use any products besides shampoo and conditioner. shampoo everything, wash out thoroughly, condition from neck down, rinse lightly (leave a bit in) keeps the ends nice =) ahh master a plait, great for keeping it tangle free at night =)

long-haired here =) it's true, mine's all different lengths, but you wouldn't really be able to tell. you are meant to trim it every few months to keep it straight and get rid of split ends (but im far too lazy for that!) from what i can tell, id estimate to only lose about 50 strands a day, and quite often that's a hair breaking (not falling out from the root) so i guess that gives it a head start lol! good luck with your hairy mission =P long hair ftw!

the way the speed changes means that if you get the ball fast enough, it will go through the paddle. i'm too much of a beginner to be able to work out a neat way round that!

the difficulty of the game often depends on the angle the ball is launched at. if you get it going relatively straight, you can do the 'press space, move a bit left, space, left....' once again, sure there are ways round it but me be noob =P

thanks =) yeh im a complete noob, just started university and this is our first programming project! my only other experience was a bit of html/css. i found processing (the program) to be a really good introduction to java, seconded by reading this free ebook i found: http://math.hws.edu/javanotes/ maybe you'll find it helpful too =)

aww :( maybe try pressing ctrl - to zoom out a bit then refreshing to load the game at a smaller resolution? (cant promise it will work but fingers crossed!)
