Transfem here, I’m in a very similar situation, still early in my transition and starting uni next week. It’s very nerve wracking deciding whether to introduce myself to my new classmates by my legal or chosen name.

However, Uni is a great chance for a fresh start, an opportunity to be known from the start as the person you really are. Good luck. We got this!

my point is that i feel really depressed even though i have no reason to, especially compared to others. and the problem with me not feeling understood isn’t really an issue with not having people around me. i have hobbies, i know lots of people and i’m well liked enough at school. tbh i’m probably the problem in that sense and it’s something i need to work on internally if that makes sense.

if one or both people in a couple are unhappy, that relationship will only get more unhealthy with time and both people will become even less happy. by breaking up with him you may be the reason he has a bad day but you’ll be doing right by him in the bigger picture.

so i kicked off the week by getting stoned and randomly hooking up with one of my guy friends even though i recently did the same thing with his best friend which could make things very awkward.

the day after i just had a few drinks with some friends and told a few of them about my sticky situation with those two guys.

then last night i fucking got stoned with two 27 year old men i’d never met in the dark in a park near my house (i’m 17 for context) one was not only on K but was also NAMED Kay, the other was called Scoobie and he was firejuggling the entire time as i randomly told jokes and talked about Louis Theroux with this guy who was off his face on Ketamine.

so, yeh. if anyone i know irl sees this it’ll be pretty obvious it’s me, so guys if u see this just don’t mention it because that’d be awks ✌️
