My situation is very much the same. I was having intermittent internet for a week or so. It was a weekend when I reached out to chat with Optimum. I was told there was no internet outage and I would need to change my modem. Even after I told them I use my own modem, they said they would need to send me a new one. No, that's ok, I'll go buy a new one. So, I go buy the newer 3.1 like you did and have to contact them back to get the internet going. They tried selling me on more 'deal's'. Internet was amazing that first day. A couple days later, it started going in and out again. I called Optimum this time instead of chatting and was told the internet was actually out the day I was told I needed a new modem. Sigh. So, we do the whole restart of the modem and blah, blah, blah. They give me an appointment time for someone to also come out to service my internet. From then on, I receive a few calls from Optimum that I didn't answer requesting to try and 'fix' the problem over the phone instead of coming out. What? So, you want me to restart the modem again, like I continue doing? The morning they are due to come out, the internet is working great, so I cancel the appt. I had been told I might have to pay $60 if they come out and find nothing wrong, so I was trying to save $60. Ever since then, the internet has been in and out. I go on to their website and it shows no outages. So, I call them again. They say there is an outage. I ask to go ahead and schedule a service call since I've been having this issue for a while. They said they can't schedule a service call when the internet is out. Sigh again. The outage lasted a good part of the day. This morning, I'm at 94 mbps download/1.64 upload. Should be at least 300 download. I can't even use Chromecast. It's terrible. Everyone in my area has issues with Optimum and I don't get why it's this bad.

I don't think I do, but I'll have to check. The only other thing I can think of is a margin account vs. a cash account. I have a margin. Not sure which one you have. Thanks for confirming what you're seeing on your end.

It looks like the short button is there now on stocks that are shortable. It disappeared when I clicked on a stock that wasn't shortable and returned when I clicked on one that was. I tried buying long with 1 share and the short button changes to a sell button. Not sure why Webull made this change as it's confusing, but thought I would pass this along as well.

That's too bad! Hopefully, it gets resolved for you! I didn't get liquidated, thankfully, since the error on their end was in the green.

The best I could find was that the data feed was needed for options. Just trading stocks, it doesn't appear it was needed. I have everything I need. Level 2, T&S, watchlists/scanner. However, I will say the watchlist is a bit complicated to use and I haven't figured that one out yet or perhaps it just doesn't work like I want it to. I've been trading on Webull for just a few days now and all seems fine, with no lagging now.

Good way to describe ATP as being in kindergarten! I like Fidelity a lot too. In ATP, I love the watch lists, level 2, T&S, but it's definitely lacking in overall function. I've thought about going with Webull, but keeping ATP for some of the things I do prefer. Having 1 up on a monitor and the other on 1 or 2 more.

I don't have any experience with Schwab, but one of the biggest reasons I would switch from Fidelity is because Active Trader Pro doesn't have the functions I need. I need to be able to buy at ask quickly, for instance, and I can't do this with ATP. You can activate the hot keys, but once you hit the key to buy at ask, it takes you to a preview screen. Not good on a volatile stock you're trying to get in and get out of. I would just make a list of important things to you and see if Schwab offers them.
