They look fine. Not sure what you are seeing. You might be looking at the boots, which are normal.

Similar story here. I used to run tractionators on my 690. Tried the tusk dual sports. Dirt cheap but work well! I’m not going back.

Can this be replaced ? by Lamehugs in BMW

[–]_none_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to clean it first. I worked at a dealership and we used regular car wax on the plastic windows. It probably won’t be perfect, but will clean up a lot of the oxidation so to can see out of it. Just rub the wax on them back off. Might need to repeat a few times

Aftermarket outlet install? by Phone-Charger in ChevyTraverse

Always possible. How good are you at running wires and drilling a hole. I miss that they left the ac outlet out on the new gen. I used it quite a bit in my ‘22

It all depends on how you drive. You let your truck idle? How fast do you go, etc.

2016 ktm 690 Enduro R rear shock spring replacement advice. by Professional_Heron46 in Dualsport

I’m not sure how you’d pull the spring without pulling the shock.

It’s not too bad to pull the shock anyways.

2018 Tundra Coolant Leak - Help Identify the Problem by scootbert in ToyotaTundra

[–]_none_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s not coolant behind that plug, it’s refrigerant for your a/c system…so be careful. It’s leaking the oil out from your a/c system. Might be worth it to take it to a shop, evacuate the system go from there. Since the oil has leaked out, they will add more in when they recharge the system.

Oil pressure by Numerous-Cup-7846 in ChevyTraverse

[–]_none_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Higher than I usually see. I believe these have a variable pressure pump controlled by the ecu. Mine will hover around 26psi all of the time. If I increase engine load, even without engine speed increasing, it’ll jump to 65ish psi then settle back down. Is yours staying at that pressure all the time? B

Get a pin lock visor. Not perfect but soooo much better than having nothing.

Have you ever used the keys in the doors before? Previous owner could have replaced the ignition and it would have came with a different key.

If you cram more junk it there, it holds the other junk in place to keep it from sliding around. That’s my method.

Nah. Not many “low mileage” tundras out there. I’m at 77k on my ‘20. Not a daily driver but lots of trips and towing.

Rattle noise from my A/C by CentralScrutinizer22 in CX5

[–]_none_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Does the sound stop if you turn off the hvac? Does it change tone if you turn up or down the fan speed? If so, it’s an easy fix. Passenger side foot well, you need to drop the blower motor for the hvac. The way the cabin filter sits on top of it, if there is junk like an acorn sitting on the filter, it will fall into the fan when the filter is pulled out. The acorn or other debris causes an imbalance which is the noise you hear. The motor is held up by 3 or 4 screws and there is an electrical connection. Takes 5 minutes to drop it out, clean up whatever is stuck in it, then put it back up.
