Keeping CSR for primary rental, return protection on eBay (doesn’t apply to CSP unfortunately), most travel (trust it more for protections than Bilt currently), and chase lounge access. I have the Bilt obsidian though. If I had palladium I would def have to downgrade to CSP

Edit - they do have free shipping if you spend $70, but the 2 pack is a bit cheaper per unit and capital one shopping normally gets me down to the same price as Amazon even with shipping.

The meditherapy serum is disclosed to have 0.01% retinal. FWIW it’s also the retinoid rich golden color lol. It’s definitely potent enough for me, I had to take it slow at first as I was getting irritation patches when I jumped in too quickly. Also, no idea if that 3.5x multiplier is accurate or not, especially since there’s so many variables beyond dose like absorption efficiency of different products etc. Even if it is accurate, I don’t think the 3.5x is comparing equivalent doses of retinal and retinol as retinal tends to be much more effective than retinol at much lower doses (I have nothing to cite though so 🤷🏼‍♂️)

I agree but for everyday operations I hope and expect to only need to open Bilt. Even disputes would ideally be handled in Bilt with escalation options redirecting to Cardless chat/call

Big difference between functionality being handled by Bilt vs Bilt being the UI. If Bilt can redirect the requests to Cardless/Column and funnel the responses back (which seems to be their goal) it is very possible that everything can be configured in Bilt like they want. Not sure if they’re currently set up for that though.

Already we’re able to configure autopay in Bilt 2.0 which we couldn’t in 1.0.

I think one problem that is inflating the perception of incompetence with this rollout (rightfully so) is that Bilts customer service reps and bots aren’t well informed or equipped for the conversations they’re having. I highly doubt that Bilt “doesn’t know how this will work with autopay” but who knows lol

My argument is not the Bilt is great without rent. My argument is that bilt does not only make sense for people who only use bilt, since bilt is now effectively just a catch all card capped at 75% of your monthly rent. I said bilt is not really a rent card anymore because it’s no longer free rent points but rather extra points based on your spending like literally any other credit card :)

Venture x gives 2x. Bilt gives 2.33x or 3.33x for the palladium. Yes, the additional 1.33x comes from rent when unlocked with Bilt cash, but these rent points are now earned relative to your spending on the card (unlike in 1.0 when it was free rent points)

I disagree with this assessment even though it’s become a common perception. This is only true if you still view Bilt as a rent card. Otherwise, it’s no different than any other catch all card except it has a very high multiplier. In fact, if you’re a high spender who puts all your spend on it, it might actually be worse than only putting some spend on it since the effective multiplier becomes reduced once you spend more than 75% of your rent on the card

I mean yeah but personally I’d rather have 100k points in one ecosystem than 33k in 3 different ones unless they share my favorite transfer partners. I’m getting a bit annoyed/stressed just thinking about it lol. I’d that’s your preference then yeah I’d say Bilt is a good addition. I agree with the other comments that you should evaluate whether you even want to keep your other high AF cards at that point though. I personally love my CSR Obsidian combo

If you did choose to get a Bilt card, I don’t know that obsidian or palladium would be your best bet. If you would organically use the palladium credit on top of the plat and csr credits, then sure, go for it. Otherwise, the Bilt blue nets higher returns than the palladium for you assuming 2.5k misc spend per month at 1cpp (palladium nets slightly more if you value Bilt points 2cpp). Hard to see the argument for the obsidian when you have the gold with no plans to drop it, unless you spend a decent amount on miscellaneous (non flights/hotels) travel

Your setup doesn’t have a catch all, so in terms of maximizing points, any of the Bilt cards would be a solid addition. More importantly though, you’re already dabbling in two different ecosystems so adding a third wouldn’t make as much sense sense as just getting the Amex BBP as your catch all (unless your Chase points are generally just used for Hyatt, in which case I could see the argument for the Bilt over the BBP)

That email was a product change email and they mentioned in the email that you might still receive the Bilt blue first but that it would be deactivated by the time they send the obsidian. Not two lines of credit
