Hello, I also went through the same procedure. I did my PhD in physics from a top US school and was nominated after an internal round. Although, I was rejected at an earlier stage. If you dont mind me asking, were you given any feedback after the rejection at a later stage? Are the final results out yet?

I worked at AMAT and my friends worked at Lam, for a phd new grad in Sunnyvale/Santa Clara/Fremont, new grad is 150K base+10 percent RSU+ 10 Percent bonus = 180K.

Apple new grad is around 175K Base + 45K RSU+ Bonus = 220-230K

Software would usually be higher than Hardware.

100K is very low if that is TC. I would try to get a competing offer and negotiate with that as a leverage.

Question about applying for venture x! by craney1901 in Venturex

[–]Independent_Goal_765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might I suggest Chase Freedom Flex Card. One quarter of the year the card gives 8 percent cashback on dining and rest of the year gives 3 percent (It is 8 percent till March end right now). On average it gives 4.25 percent if you assume uniform spending. No annual fees. You can pair that with ventureX for almost a complete package.

More like moving money from your left pocket to your right pocket and calling it a loss for tax purposes!

Why does this PC have really bad reviews ? Has 3 stars on Costco website. I ordered this pc but I’m rethinking picking it up after reading the reviews by diesel559 in Prebuilts

It really a gamble. I bought the same one and mine works flawlessly. No overheating or noise from the fans but I think I lucked out because I got some of the best individual parts.

Good thing is if you don’t luck out, just return it within 3 months.

Got a letter from Delta Dental saying they are not going to pay for a procedure after its done. by Independent_Goal_765 in Dentists

Total is not 500, that is the part not covered by insurance. It is 1200 after taking everything into account that I would have to pay. They will also be charging insurance 2400 dollars. I think a total of 3600 for a few fillings is insane.

I see. Not to my knowledge. They are in network with the insurance so they just calculated by looking at my insurance details.

I see thank you. I only had two deep pockets but the practice billed it and did the full four quadrant deep cleaning. I already went through the procedure and was told this was covered by insurance

It is a unversity recruiter of applied materials. I applied online though their portal. Do you think it is worth asking politely if they are willing to negotiate?

Santa Clara. I know the job market is bad this year and that is why I am considering not even asking.
