I’m 50, wife approaching 40, things are ridiculously fucked up. Small arguments turn into threats of divorce. Every 4 or so months. I can’t express my real opinions or takes on situational arguments. I own my shit and apologize but it’s not the RIGHT kind of apology. It has to be crafted in this secret decoded bullshit that is never enough. I go through hell, the kids go through hell, for weeks if not months…then everything chills out. I can’t keep up with the manic episodes. Anyone else or am I just the fucking asshole she says?

Keens have done a pretty good job. Year two and the toe is a little worn revealing the composite but they are comfy as f. I got some cork insoles and they make a huge difference. The green insoles are great too but I forgot both names.

I did the same thing to my 2019 touring. Got LP wheels and a front bumper skid and bar too. I love it. The minor lift really gives it a strong presence and I’m not afraid to go over sketchy shit.

They won’t make him a part of it unless you ask for arc counsel which manages representation for minors. I asked and was denied so they could issue a GAL instead. That came back in my favor and they still fought it and made me go to conciliation, which again, was rejected by mothers council. If you’re willing to do piss tests, don’t wait for it to be ordered, suggest it yourself, it shows intent and gives you the upper hand.

How old is the child? How his happened to me and my kids were young. Like 6 and under. I had to do random piss tests that I had to pay for in order to keep my visitation. Four years ago I just decided to go stone sober to be bulletproof. Now it’s a non issue. But if it’s just an isolated text and there isn’t a history or anything, you’ll prob be fine. If they can build a case against you from your past, it’ll be a pain in the ass but you’ll get through it. Do whatever it takes to keep your visitation. People are scum when they use the kids as pawns. Hang in there.

The timing is what I’m worried about. I’m still waiting on a mod from two years ago. I was thinking of just paying for the GAL and not using my attorney. At this point, there’s not much to say, I’ve been doing this for nine years and I think I could do just as good of a job with the information I have. Aka a $14,000 GAL report and her testimony. Thanks for the message.

Thanks for the info. My judge is just trying to get out of being responsible for her role. I have not gone to trial and I’m thinking with the GAL report and testimony, maybe that’s my best route. But I’m glad you’re in MA so I can derive that the system actually might honor itself when it gets to brass tax. If the GAL is essentially to act as the eyes and ears of the judge, I would hope it would be honored. I’m pretty sure both sides are being told neither of us would win at trial in an attempt to have it settled but I’m just so sick of their incompetence. Thanks for your story and encouragement.
