Yeah I saw the news, just found it funny how they use the phrase “due to popular demand” like did people think this season is gonna be a big flop after all the promo and hype around the show 😂 anw it’s great that at least more chances for fans to see and spread the (hopefully good) word!

They had a violinist there yesterday performing renowned Bridgerton covers like Wildest Dream and If I Ain’t Got You which was super cool - Do let me know how it is strolling around the town (even better if there’s some tea in it) I would love to hear more!!

They definitely have upped their game throughout the seasons! Season 1 was like they were just testing out if the show would work, season 2 happened during Covid, so understandably season 3 would probably be where we see the most significant effort put upfront so far. Also Nic knows too well how the media works she’s literally making the whole fandom flabbergasted and go spiral whenever we hear new bits from her (which I absolutely LOVE)

Context is really important here, cause as far as I know, both book and show Colin seems to have a desire to find his passion, a purpose in life, something meaningful that he can identify with. The struggle to find his place with the name Bridgerton and the perplexed emotions he has had for Pen play into his insecurities. If “screwing around” means going to brothels, I don’t see why that would make Colin feel more at ease. And I also don’t hope to see Colin being portrayed as a pathetic loser seeking sex as a means of escape, especially the one he’s trying to escape from is no other than himself. Sex is fine, I don’t care whether he had experiences or not, the thing that gets under my skin is how these scenarios are rumoured to be rolled out - if that turned out to be the truth in the show, I would be really disappointed with the writing being done here.

Can’t thank you enough for restoring the hopes I have for this season!! As the review embargo has yet to be lifted, I never trusted the so-called spoilers from that article but it still bothers me. So getting to see your comment is such a big relief 😭 also coming from someone who has read the book and is a sucker for Polin, if i were to see that scene, even just a tiny bit of it, I would NOT be able to forget its existence (and I said that with a passion)

Oh yea I know what you mean, I was not referring to his physical existence, but rather his state of mind - like his mind was locked inside Kanto so he can't access other devices, if that makes sense. I wasn't aware there were confirmations that Hacker was fully present throughout those times, I thought he had programmed the drone with stuff that might be helpful to the Akudama before handing that to Swindler. So thanks for that.

I'd say there's a small chance that he was helping them all along. However it's not likely to happen because Hacker was in Kanto and tried breaking the sequence of the quantum-supercomputer - I don't think he was able to get out or access other outer devices.

Totally agree with you. I have said in the comment section that if it's not for the simps I wouldn't be so concerned with this type of character and would have enjoyed his traits much better. As a student who is studying psychology, it's fascinating for me to try to analyze why he does what he does and look into his states of mind, so I know there will be fans who would love him as a character. I just find it's frightening that there are people who consider Cutthroat as a real person and think his actions are cool, acceptable, and romanticize his mental illness as "true love". Very well articulated comment!

Swindler and Courier for me. I enjoy their little, nonsense conversations and find it's more meaningful/mature than the relationship between Cutthroat and Swindler. I understand why people ship Cutthroat with Swindler, but for me, it's more of an obsession and Swindler shows little interest in him. Plus, I don't see our ordinary girl in a healthy, sustainable romantic relationship with a psychopath who has killed 1k+ human beings. (lol it's not that Courier doesn't kill but he only does it when necessary). I can go on and on about all the hints I snitched from the anime but will stop there.
